Non-Ayu related: I know Ai Otsuka's Kingyo Hanabi by heart and can almost write the entire song in kanji...

I think I may be forgetting a few (such as the ones that I don't have in my current playlist), but that's ok. Considering that I don't speak fluent Japanese (Nihongo ga skoshi wakari masu), I think that's pretty good.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. =^.^= My friends hear me do songs like evolution and ourselves and their eyes go like this ----> O.O

And the thing where you just add sounds that are similar if you don't know the actually words. I do that sometimes, too, when I stumble over a verse.

As for my voice... Eh. My chorus teacher liked it, but I'm too shy to sing in front of other people. And I have trouble with Ayu's high notes, too. =^.^=

Me too! I remember the first song I tried singing using the instrumental track (Dearest) I kept messing up at the choruses because of the background vocals.

I usually use the romanji lyrics to sing her songs, which in a way, is somewhat of a good thing, since it helps my Japanese reading skills (I think so anyways), Basically, it helps me to not get so tongue-tied with certain words at certain speeds and what not.

I like singing lots of her songs but there are really only two that I absolutely love and always sing:
HANABI -Episode II- (with the help of romanji lyrics)
Dearest (I can sing this song entirely without having to look at lyrics! A while back, I had wanted to kareoke this song in public (which I never did... ) so I practiced and practiced and now I have it memorized completely! Plus, this is my FAVORITE Ayu song)

BTW, who else finds it nearly impossible to sing the evolution choruses?!

I don't know japanese at all, but for Swedish people it is very easy to learn how to pronunce Japanese. I can sing fast songs as evoultion and ourselves with no problem, I don't know how but it all comes naturally. I can almost do the rap part in Fly High (at least the first verse)!

I know most of her songs, well maybe not all of them perfectly, but many of them at least. I think Appears is the most enjoyable song to sing!
