Ayu's REAL look

she still looks the same .. just without make up .. so she's still a pretty person

With makeup or not, wearing big fashion brand or not, she's still amazing. It's rare seeing a celebrity without makeup that actually looks good. And when Ayu wears a simple t-shirt and jeans, that's when she looks the best in my opinion. I love her personal style.

Ayu is getting less and less popular in Japan, so there are a lot of rumors floating around about her. EVERY Japanese friend I talk to (I only have about 9 or 10 Japanese friends) has heard that she has had plastic surgery. I'm sure that there are tons of people who refuse to believe it because they're obsessed fans, but if you compare pictures of her from her younger days and now, you can definitely tell something is just different in her face. Of course she's gotten older, and no one has proof that she has gotten surgery. But, at the same time, no one has proof that she HASN'T had plastic surgery either!

I just think it's odd that all my Japanese friends agree that she has had it.

She's still cute w/o make-up but I agree that she looks older/tired without it. It probably has to do with the fact that she doesn't get much sleep (it's her own choice, I think) and because we're used to seeing her all made-up and without any wrinkles or imperfections.

However, stars don't wear make up when they are at home. I mean .. jeez, I like laying around the house in PJ's and no make up on and it's relaxing.
Celebrities are distreet when not wearing make up, well, maybe in Japan. but it's always nice to have something on when you go out. You have to be presentable to people. If I'm lazy to do anything before going out, I at least brush my teeth, hair and put foundation on.

Anyhows, it's kinda funny to see some stars without make up. The public eye is so used to seeing them all glammed up that it's quite a shock

Maybe they put so much make-up on Ayu sometimes, it ends up making such a difference. Plus.. photoshopping. Anyways, I think that without make-up, Ayu looks a lot like the young model Ayu.

She may look so drained out because of the light form the camera. that's why they put make-up on actors and actresses so they don't look like ghosts.

duuude that picture of those made-over girls... so messed up. It makes you think.. could this be a sin since they're basically ruining the way God made them? I mean,.. simple plastic surgery is not that bad, even though i don't agree with it. but if you're gonna get a nose, ear, cheek, eye, lip, bust, and butt job, she's just a messed up girl and is extremely insecure. I think girls look jsut fine if they know how to present themselves. It gets me mad how the world always tells them the only way to be beautiful is to do this or do that, yknow? It's friggin rediculous. Am i wrong?

I agree. I'm not happy with the way I look all the time, but hey I'm not gonna go change things, you know? ..no one looks at me anyways.. lol

I used the pic to mostly make the point about how much women can change their looks, similarly to how Ayu always looks different.
