Yo-chan vs. Enrique

I do feel bad for Enrique sometimes. I mean, he IS a talented guy. Yochan seems to have so much more personality though.

but there's no denying that Yo-chan has more stage presence

Enrique doesn't seem like one who enjoys the lime light in my opinion. I think he is happy the way he is just playing his bass. Both instruments are indeed very important. I think it's just Yoshio's more outgoing and funky stage personality that makes ayu goes to him more.

Yeah and I remember Ayu and crew celebrating Enrique's birthday.

but maybe he is 'somewhat' shy... Plus he always looks like he's in his own little world when he plays (most are, no offense for all bass players)

I don't think it's a matter of Ayumi liking Yoshio better. I just think Enrique is shy - he doesn't seem all that touchy feely to me and like he prefers to be off on his own. Yoshio is much more open and cuddly which is why Ayu interacts with him more.

And chan can be used for any sex so long as the person is a close friend. Ayu herself refers to Yoshio as Yo-chan.

Enrique, as everyone says, moves around a lot as he plays his bass and his in his own world. I think that Ayumi knows he doesn't like the attention a lot and just enjoys being on stage with the band and just playing the bass. And also, Yoshio doesn't move much at all, he's a perfected master of guitar and so anything ayumi puts on him won't mess him up, but as for Enrique I'm pretty sure he just likes his own world. Don't think too much of this. They're all great friends.

(Is it me, or does ayumi like the older back up singer more then the other one...this could be debated just like this one...I think the younger one really likes singing with ayumi but ayumi like, usually never sings with her until recently when she balanced them out. I think ayumi favors yoshio more for outgoing attitude, and the older back up singer's voice..hmm...peko was it?)

I definately notice this from all the concerts i've seen. I wish Enrique would be a little more outgoing as we dont know much about him in comparison to Yo-chan. Make Enrique the MC in the next tour, lol.

i think yo-chan is so cool...i love him. he's so adorable and he looks so cute! ahahaha...

ayu treats him like a big brother...maybe that is why for the attachment...

lol, I grew to love Yo-chan even more after I watched the Arena Tour 2005... they are cute together! They do act like siblings... always picking at each other... Yo-chan's pictures were so HILARIOUS!

As for the older back up singer "Peco"... I saw her name in the credits as the choreographer and stage directions person... so she must really spend alot of time with ayu when it comes time to planning the concerts... I think the younger one may just be a backup singer...

erique is more shy. during arena tour 05's mc sessions, even when the whole crew + ayu celebrated his bday for him, he didnt say much. perhaps ayu knows that he don't really enjoy the attention? yochan on the other hand is more outgoing

but over the years, there are more and more shots of him right? so Ayu is trying to bring him into the limelight, no? Just like how she develop a lot of dancers and trying to make them known...

I've also read in the translation of the CDL 04-05 concert, that Ayu says to keep the quiet guy (Enrique) until last, when they are telling their new year's resolutions.
But indeed, Yo-chan has a great stage presence (I love it when he starts throwing guitar picks into the audience). And about Ayu not leaning onto Enrique any more; in the CDL 2000-2001 Concert, she leans on his shoulder. But yeah, he moves a lot when playing, so that might be the reason .

But I love them both, they are both very talented players, and one time I listen to the guitar lines, and another time I listen to the bass line. And they are both good.
And btw, does anyone know his full name? I guess Enrique isn't his full name. (It would make researching his past easier)
