How many covers will be this time?

The concept IS getting old... but if they do include it, they should have the box around it... that way you have two different covers already! Fans will be more satisfied, and sales just might boost a little... I'd really want an elegant-looking cover... something like A BALLADS, either that, or a calm looking one like RAINBOW... not the loud looking one where she is wearing hot pink lipstick and a weird looking mini-nightgown thing...

this time they should include all alternate covers inside.. so if i like cover A over B, I can stick cover A on the top

judging from the single covers... this album cover should be nice (unless Bold & Delicious cover is weird...)

I can swallow Demure Dusk's idea too, one for first press and one for the regular is quite reasonable.

That way you also have the choice to which one you want to order as they are usually listed separately. Unlike having one for the CD version, and a different one for the CD+DVD version. A bit of a bummer if you want the DVD but prefer the CD-only cover.

I also agree with one cover only. Just like fairyland, I really want the cover version CD only but I bought CD+DVD cos got PV.

Maybe a couple billion? okay an exaggeration but you know that they just want to make more money so expect 2 for singles releases and around 3-5 for albums.

I have them from my Tokyo friend - he found them in press It was short article in one of daily papers released on march or april this year (I don't remember when it was exactly) about marketing startegy of big record factorys like Avex. There where stats how releasing of multiple covers help with sale and there was also small stats of MY STORY sales. It was wrote at the end that source of all infos (stats) is Avex Trax.

I think this infos are reliable. The best profe is that if u check old post here on forum where members talking about how many copys of MY STORY they bought or order u will see that so many ppls bought at least 2 copys.

Personally I think that release of 2 covers is enough: 1 for CD only and 1 for CD+DVD. Maybe multiple covers are ok if u'r buying at music store and could choose ur fave but many members here is fall back at coincidence when buying at on-line shops. I'm gonna order CD+DVD version and I hope there will be only 1 cover.. only 1..

I hope the cover's something simple, like a golden 'A' symbol. I've always wanted one of her covers to just be that, so I flip the booklets on all my Ayu cds.

It's probably just going to be another close-up of her face with no variations. What colour will it be this time? Freaking grey? I don't like the album covers. They were all boring. The only thing I liked about any of them was the white dove on the I am... cover.

The singles' covers are a different story. Though most are also close-ups of her face, I like them more. If only they had started releasing two different covers sooner; I don't like some of the single covers. fairyland's CD was boring, as was HEAVEN's CD+DVD, but fairyland's CD+DVD and HEAVEN's CD are both... YAYNESS.
