I didn't think that I would like it too much, but it was better than I thought it would be! If this truly is the last track on the album, then it's a nice ending. I hope the PV will make it even more beautiful.

Grr! I'm really tempted to hear the full song! But I wanna be surprised when I get my CD. From what I've read I think I'm going to like it.

I like it, although her singing isn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. Will had given me hope on that. Its not amazing, but I'm not hating on it.

I love this song, and I don't think it's repetitive at all. Alterna is much more repetitive than this...

It's funny how ayu's songs have drastically dropped in quality whereas Namie Amuro and Koda Kumi's songs have both increased in quality. Looks like one album I won't be buying from Ayu.
Yeah, I agree. Violet Sause is my favorite Namie song, haven't heard so many but that song is so good!

I simply LOVE rainy day. I think it sounds lovely, like a blend of HANABI, kingyo hanabi and something else, RAINBOW perhaps?.... It's really one of the most beautiful ayu-songs I've heard. Truly. I've found a new favourite song. THis songs makes me want to sit in front of a fire with a hot cup of tea in the early autumn evenings......

Edit: It just seems so entirely meaningless and stupid why she released B&D crap insted of this...? Perhaps I should just be happy none of the other album songs are like that awful single.

At first listen I just couldn't feel GEO of SWEETBOX on it, but after listening to the whole thing once again it indeed has a touch of GEO of SWEETBOX.
The song is rather simple, I really liked it but I really expected that it could have more elements in the arrangements such as the soud of a rain and/or thunders....

I thought so too, but that wouldn't really go with the cute feeling ayu herself said it had, I do like it, I admit the video could've had something else, I like simple videos but this one's could've been a lot more "bright", so to say.

wow, I certainly don't agree with you, while I think "you" is a great song, it is nowhere near HEAVEN.

^ I so agree with your points. Ayu's ballads are unbeatable. Honestly. And this ballad is simply gorgeous. For one I love how it sounds like absolutely nothing she's ever released. Kumi's latest ballads are excellent but honestly I wouldn't compare them to HEAVEN or Rainy Day. Ayu's vocals are better and so is the whole emotion put into them.

The backing vocals are soothing and give this songs this ethereal feel to it. I love how the rain theme is consistent in the whole song.

Yes, I totally agree. I think Koda suits hip-hop soul semi tempo songs, not the average j-ballad. She actually sounds manly compared to ayumi (Probably because she sings in a more "western" voice way also though)... I'm starting to think that rainy day is even better than HEAVEN.

I love her "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" and the "3/4" bridge is amazing. I don't think the song needed bridges between verses and chorus like some stated though, the overall structure of the song is already nice, the transition between verses to chorus is rather fine in this song.

How come people are not liking this album when it's clearly better than past releases. Again I'm thinking of MY STORY album.

true, not every song needs those bridges, this one goes smoothly as it is
