it's a funny article. It really gives a lot of lessons on what "NOT TO DO" when you write an article. First of all, he puts things way too personal and in first person. In an article that is supposed to be serious that totally lacks any professionalism. Second, he didn't even care to know what the lyrics of the songs were and funny enough he mentions "insincere ballads". Third, he couldn't care less to do a proper research and actually know that Duty was her very 3rd album, if he doesn't even know who ayu is properly he shouldn't act like the mister-know-it-all, he's writing everything based on a first impression rather than a careful observation. Fourth, he should blame avex for pasting the vocal track into the AO versions, it's not ayumi who decides to make remixes and other versions of her songs. Fifth, I could care less for what he says, I'll just listen to TO BE and embrace my "junk" because what's a junk for him it is my treasure LOL

if that person can spend time looking into a dictionary/thesaurus for words to bash ayu, he should have also spend some time doing research. i dislike people who makes opinons based on false assumptions/understandings.

Everyone have right to own opinions but... I JUST HATE PPLS WHOS WRITNG ABOUT SOMETHING THEY HAVE NO REMOTED IDEA. He's trying to wrote something smart searching for hole in whole. It's not hard to saw that he think that he unmask AYU and all J-Pop market - what a poor, unvalue guy

I would say everyone can have their own opinions. BUT since he's writing an article at least he should do a little research. If he was going to do an article about a singer he dislikes at least he should manage to find a lyric translation-which is not hard to find and at least know her album. I laugh at the sheer amount of fact he got wrong.

Wait, if you search on the site for Ayumi Hamasaki, a review of My Story pops up with favourable remarks. Ignore that stupid guy lol, My Story the album got a B+ from Stylus, which is amazing! Moments was one of the best track according to the reviewer. http://www.stylusmagazine.com/review.php?ID=2674 There's the link, i cane across it a few months back.

Yeah um.. he uses hard words. maybe i'm just stupid? jk. Guess he's too "intelligent" to enjoy someone with such an unique style and genre of music perhaps. Maybe one day when he starts to enjoy ayu's music, he'll laugh at the moment of stupidity in which he had spent in writing this article. Also, if you hate a person SO much, why would you spend the "time" in discovering that person in depth..? and to think if that person is "fake" or not.

i found this funny....it's a good article to laugh at.... most of my opinions has been stated by others,...well, at least I need to say something,.... my thoughts, well, this guy doesn't like Jpop....at all.... and he's a stupid guy who want to sound smart.... and w00t??? Duty is her first album???? a big LOL

no offence btw, Ayu's first album was released on "1999" not "2000". So next time please do some more research before you even start writing an article like this, it's a shame, don't embarrass yourself and take care
