Well this album can still be worth somehow if they add to awesome ballads from Ayu that were never featured in any album: LOVE~Destiny~ and ever free. If they forget about those songs then .............

Hmm, you do have a point, Impact. If it includes every ballad that Ayu had made, including the ones not included in an album then it would be worthwile. But I'm still upset by how Avex is releasing RAINBOW with "recycled" songs.

The official track list hasn't been released yet. Let's give avex the benefit of the doubt until then.

I agree with impact breaker. If they put all those songs that were never put on a album they would probably sell more then what we all think there planing on doing now. Avex might make more money if they actually take time to think of additonal releases instead of just throwing a whole bunch of songs that were released on a similar album not to long ago.

Come on... Ayu-ro-mix II sold gold status and was number one for a week, and those are just remixes. B'z just released a ballads album too, and it's been at the top of the charts for weeks. I think it'll do just fine.

Strange...I thought the album from ayu that had most ballads was "A Song for XX" so i'm sure most songs on this new album will be from that album...and you said once that one of your favorite album was "A Song for XX"....??????????????....reallly strange...LOL

Yes, but this will contain all the new ballads [Dearest, Seasons, etc].... and those are my least favorite songs of hers. I like her old ballads, but I doubt those will be on here - this is going to focus on all those songs I don't like.

Have a Happy Day!

Many Ayu fans sites have been saying that some of the songs on "A Ballads" will be re-recorded or re-arranged like what they did for "A Best." This information isn't confirmed or anything, but many fan sites have been saying this so I thought I'd share this info with you all.

I suppose that would be a nice bonus, but I feel like all her ballads are already sung beautifully. They shouldn't fiddle with them.

I'd like to hear some remakes of the old ballads because Ayu sings a lot different now.

I think Avex will recycle some or all of her previous ballads in this album. If they really use their head and the ppl in Avex's marketing dept have some brain, they will change the song's arrangement, remixed it or let Ayu resing the vocal to make it more "worthwhile" of being released. Something like the first three songs the did in A Best album.

I also think they are targeting new Ayu fans with this new compilation, let new fans have a taste of Ayu's "softer side" before getting them addicted to Ayu's music. As you can see, Ayu's music is getting more "ROCKish" as compared to her earlier songs. Not all ppl like heavy stuff, Avex knows this very well.

If they change the songs arrangement, vocal or remix it like Namie's Best Single Collection, I would consider buying it and treat it like an Ayumix album. I really hope that they don't include Rainbow in it will be priced as a double discs album. Not to mention that they will embark on a suicide mission of killiing off the Rainbow album in the market.

I think would be a good idea if you dont know very much of the older songs but, if the songs are the same than A best... so this is a waste of money! Avex thinks Ayu fans are walking credit cards!!!

The album "A Ballads" will include the song "Rainbow" (which wasn't on the album Rainbow) - and not the full Rainbow album itself.
But the songtitles aren't confirmed, yet.
I hope you know what I mean and sorry for my poor English. ^^

What are you all talking about? Her ballads are BEAUTIFUL! I say it's about time. And hopefully they'll add "ever free", arguably the most overlooked Ayumi Hamasaki song ever. Suprisingly, it's one of her most beautiful too...

I may actually buy this album, especially since "Rainbow" will be on it.
