"NOTHING FROM NOTHING" translation

Some of the lyrics sounded very Ayumi-like to me, even though she didn't write these. I don't understand why the song is called Nothing from Nothing as it seems like she is trying to make SOMETHING out of her life which is boring and dull. I think it'd have made more sense as Something from Nothing.

lol, it'd all be the same to me. if it was always "something from nothing" we'd have never known the difference.
