Basically all of Mariah Carey's covers (she traditionally does one an album, except on her most recent...and I don't like I'll Be There--her version or the Jackson 5 version). I especially like her cover of Def Leppard's "Bringin' On The Heartbreak"--and apparently they did too. They wrote very highly of it in their greatest hits liner notes...they said something to the note of "It's about time. It took 20 years, but finally somebody did a cover of one of our songs write. Mariah's cover is fabulous."

i like Hitomi Shimatani's Papillon, which i thought was better than Janet's "Doesn't Really Matter". The lyrics are beautiful.

I liked MJ's version of Come Together, I hate the Beatles, but I just liked that version. I also liked some covers of ABBA by... I think it was Erasure, in the early 90s - those were fun, I enjoyed those.

Same here. Nothing against the original, but damn, Sam Beam makes it just magical.

IT is a cover? Never knew that. Oh well even though I never heard the original I bet I can assume with no doubts that her version was zillion times much better than the original LOL

The original was by Dolly Parton. To me Dollys version sounds like a sheep dying at the side of a farmhouse.
