Like, she would stop doing countdown concerts, because maybe she has realised that its too tiring and taxing for her to do 2 concerts a year.

If this is true, then THANK GOD. Her CDL's lately have been horrendous and ayu is overworking like hell for whats always been a mediocre performance with little budget. I want her to focus on her new album and Arena Tour 2007 and make those great without worrying about the CDL thing.

Maybe to you, but I think they've been pretty good in the last few years

They're sort of like, a fun way for TeamAyu / regular fans to bring in the New Year and spend it with Ayu, technically.

Plus, they're packed usually on both days, so it'd be missing out on like a great marketing opportunity [it also looks like it earns a ton of money from merchandise and ticket sales.. ]


I don't think this'll be the last CDL, it's just got an altered name.. perhaps because it's going to be the best out of all the ones so far? I dunno. XD

i'm with immel. its probably just a name to attract interest. and she'll probably sing some of her "best" songs, like fly high and evolution.

not that she doesn't sing them all the time anyhow.

I think it just simply means that she will be performing almost exclusively, her hits only. Kinda like A Museum.

^ Oh it was the most embarrasing thing I've ever seen. Her outfits were utterly disgusting! Her voice was utterly disgusting as well! Though the DVD version was much better I heard... XD

I really wish she'd sing "still alone" at this "BEST OF" I love Still Alone But it's never ever been done live...

Well, I think her outfits [minus the purple yeti fur outfit] were some of the most tame and least 'out there' of her recent concerts..

flower dress -> pretty
green dress -> deliciously mmm <3
red pants + top + ribbon inside -> Casual, she was like a Power Ranger though XD
Bold&Delicious -> funky, used before I believe..

CDL04-05 was scary outfit-wise.. O_O
Her ballerina-thing.. oh my..

I think this is summarizing for five years of concerts Countdown no more that ( first CTL was december 2000).
Means we shall celebrate the anniversary. HURRAH!!!

Ayu was imo the first HUGE J-Pop star that influenced maaannnnyy.
