Ah, I see. I'm really curious about Koda's numbers... she seems to be on the number 1 spot on daily charts every day since her album release...

yeah but kuu sales are not no good right now : 1st week over 400k and the second only 100k

Finally I'm not so disgusted about the Secret sales... I'm mean I thought that kuu's sales should reach 1 million... now I know that she 'just' saled 500k in 2 weeks so after all Ayu's sales are great !

But Secret's worth better i think...

actually Black Cherry sold over 500K copies on the first week, and now the total is around 800K in three weeks. I'm pretty sure Black Cherry will reach 1 million eventually.

I really think ayu's should perform some more songs from Secret soon. She isn't really promoting it very well. By the time the tour comes around the album might not even be in the top 100 at this rate. I think I saw on something that on like the daily charts it went up about 4 spots after CDTV and the CDL. If she maybe does momentum or something else soon, I think it will give others a fell of the album and it might get to 700,000. I sure the tour will help, but it is a long way away. I don't know why ayu choses to sing JEWEL so mean times and nothing else. Does she get to chose what songs to sing and what show she does it on? Does she ever get tired of singing the same song over and over again?

I agree... and maybe it's just me, but I think she should perform "Secret." Like, the song. Because she raerly performs the song that her album is named after.

Although I'm happy Black Cherry is selling well, I do think that Ayumi's secret is a bit better quality wise. I hope that Secret sells like 700 000 copies. 640 000 is not bad, but compared to her other albums...

i think that Secret will eventually sell 750k. When compared to (m)u, Secret seem to have a longer lasting power.

the promotion was very weird after all : we first listen JEWEL very soon compare to the release date... And we didn't know if it was a single, a mini album or finally a real album !
Then I think that those poor sales are consequences of confusion since BLUE BIRD release (remember : we expected a 4 tracks maxi single) and the bad promotion and quality of (m)u

and definitively YES : Ayu sould perform more Secret song (especially momentum and 1LOVE)

Yeah I see it that way too....

Did Ayu ever release Jewel, 1LOVE, and Momentum as singles? If she didn't maybe that could be a reason why many didn't buy the album. I mean the probably perferred the singles over the album or something of that sort. IMO, if she had sold the singles before releasing her album, should probably would have debuted higher.

I think release maybe one or two more singles in general would have helped.

Was the 1love pv aired on TV? I could see that song being popular just because of the video alone and the performance she gave of it was so great. I was glad I watched it because Hamasaki actually had a stage presence, unlike all those Jewel performances where everything is all calm and bland (but she did sing great during those performances so I'm not knocking them).

I wish she'd sing more songs live though. I do tend to fall in love with songs more when I see them live. I wasn't too fond of Ringo's new song until I saw the live.

I think Ayu is still doing really well now that Kumi has the spotlight. She'll probably rise again in 2007. now in all of Asia.

Okay sales.. I hope it keeps these steady sales, it could sell fairly well.

Koda's already passed 800K in three (3!!!) weeks
