Yes! Ayumi does!

Haha... Meh... It seem like ages ago! Ayumi guided me through my late childhood a little and until now. Maybe that's why Ayumi mean so much to me.

I remember i always used to come back home from school and turn on my radio and wait for Ayumi's song to play randomly. Hehe... And then, i'll takes like ages to save up my money to buy her singles and album which was A Song for XX's era where Ayumi just started out. Ow... Man... Long time!

I've just read a little bit of my life in my palm using my palmistry self-teaching book. Oawww what can I say.

All the patterns and chains in my palm have nothing else but bringing me a tough and unhealthy life. Actually I've been being put on many pressure, and my health is not really good at all, I've never play a specific sport or doing anything actually healthy.

I was really surprised about that. I sighed and then I online and to this AHS, I realised that there is still Ayu and her music.

I'm watching CDL 06-07 right now and I can see through my laptop display screen a strong source of power. I will continue my life just as how disgusting it is and hoe tough it is.

Studying in my country is I think not really as tough as Japan but enough to make a stupid one but likes climbing high to kill myself. And so I have many problems with feelings and so and so. Ayu is the only one who can encourage me, which is secret, to me, will never be revealed, maybe it will but absolutely not now.

I would have said she acted a play even higher than my mom or my family, friends but seriously, I judged as 1/3. I'm still very lucky as I stilll have people around me but many I know not. So if there were nothing but myself, she will be a full-time life-savior of mine.

Not really because of the lyrics, Ayu's voice it self is a magical thing. I rarely read a lyric of her or just looking at her romanji to sing a long. Lyric to me is optional or maybe just Ayu, I would see Utada lyric, Namie, hitomi but as Ayu I have no doubt, the feelings which presented in the song and in her performance are sent directly to my mind. Utada, yeah, mabe but she can only give me the exiting for a short period of time not forever like Ayu.

Anyway. She is the best and I'm proud to be an Ayu's fan. I'll never quit supporting her and do some promotioning job for her (haha)

Thanks for sharing your feelings with me. You are so cool

Evolutionricky: I love your set

i'm not sure about my fractions but Ayu does play a big part in my life, well eversince i joined this forum. I used to be like you too, because i used to like Utada then some how stumbled across Ayu and gave her a try, "Utada was better, Ayu sucks!"....then i researched about jpop and many ppl seemed to like Ayu, and alot of the times i listened to Ayu but i didnt like her songs, then i just put any random jpop songs on my mp3 player and Ayu's INSPIRE was there too...i listened to it and realised Ayu's songs takes time for me to get used to...so i d/led more of her songs and came to this forum!

now Ayu is the ONLY artist i listen to for 2 years, it was like destiny!, i stumbled across Ayu's songs so many times but never relli tried listening to it carefully and threw it away! lol so Ayu just keeps giving me these chances to listen to her

i first found out about her in 2002...i always think how stupid i am to not like her back then...Ayu can change my mood alot so i guess she does play a big part in my life! i could easily say i love Ayu very much!

"Does Ayu have any part in your life?"
In face,Ayu is the first person ever who touched me.

Among all people I know, I'm always be very solitary or even miserable. Those life actually meant nothing to me. Due to some "imperfection" that I have (serious social phobia and 'certain' learning disability),my childhood was full of despair.

I was always living in gloom with no friends at all in kindergarten and primary school. Sometimes, I really doubted that if I disappear somewhere, would there be anyone who notice and find me? That kind of anguish was almost killing my soul. I lost any interests in live, I didn't believe in people and even became indifferent to any human emotions. I think that ALL human are cruel.

I never knew that there ARE people who would feel the same as me until I met with ayu's lyrics. When I first discovered A Song for XX, I immediately knew that the singer "ayumi hamasaki" would live forever in my life.

In my case, I love her mainly because of her lyrics and emotions that was put in her songs(I was really shocked by her A Song for XX performance in Dome tour, and I dropped my tears).

Heart's Key

You are the key that unlocks my heart's cell,
The only one who understands me well.
My oasis in this desert of sandstorm,
You define beauty in its perfect form.

Love at first sight is more than just fate,
True love is what decides you are my soulmate.
My sincerity and devotion will move the gears of love,
A lifetime is how much your love to me is worth.

Oh God, I don't even have an identity outside of Ayumi, Megaman X and cats. JKJKJKJK
To be honest, I'm greatly inspired by her songs, image, personality and her charisma and because of that, I've been influenced by what she does and says while making many decisions, some bigger, some smaller. More than half my playlist is dominated by Ayu tunes, I probably cut my hair short a couple years ago to emulate her, and a good deal of my past artwork was either fanart of her or based on her songs in varying degrees. So yes, I suppose she plays a large part in my life. I've tried out a lot of artists, but I've never been touched so deeply by anyone else as much as her.

ayu probably occupies 30mins every morning when i log into Ayunite and AHS, another 30mins-1hour when winamp plays her songs, another 30mins every night when i log into Ayunite and AHS again, and 1-2hours randomly whenever i slot in her CDs =) not to mention the 2-3 hours watching her concert videos

ayu used to be a big part, since it was her who introduced me to Japanese music (and digimon which introduced me to ayu, don't ask me how). i dont really bother about her lyrics, i just loved her voice and music. though now that i've discovered mika, DAI and afkg, her pie shrinks a little.

apart from providing some needed ear-relief and eye-candy ayu doesnt figure much in my daily life. she has changed my life in one aspect though -> she made me LOVE music <3
