I'm not so sure about that, her total sales is around 46,000,000 copies within Japan. The only place outside Japan where she's selling a decent amount of CDs is in a few countries in Asia, in many of them where bootlegs are more popular than the real thing, I doubt her overseas sales reach 4,000,000 copies or more.

She needs 2 millions to reach 50m, the sum in wikipedia jump from 48m to 50m magically, I think somebody added the legal downloads sales, dvd, calenders and others things sales because with CDs and CDs+DVDs sales only she doesn't reach 50m.

I hope that with A BEST 2 she will get 50 millions =)

She's sold less than 2 million DVDs, although I haven't counted. None of her DVDs sold much higher than 100k copies.

What's an irregular single? I'm not sure about this, but I don't think any of the German singles sold over 10k copies, the vinyls even less.

DVD sales does not count for total CD sales, I'm pretty sure. Even if it does, her DVDs will barely make a difference.

Downloads counts in the US I think, but it doesn't in Japan in the same way, yet. With downloads she's approaching 50,000,000 copies, even though we have no numbers we have the certifications, I think that's enough for it to jump up to 50 mil.
