I wouldn't think that she died, since she was up there the whole time..
It was more: She knew that he was always "there," and when the time finally came for him to come up to where she was, she was right there waiting..

So was he the snake? And was she that bug thing? o.o
And why did he have to eat her like that? That was rude. |

LOL you're so naughty
But yeah I didn't get that part o.o And also the whole growing of the hair thing. Like did her hair turn into plant food or something? So that the flowers could grow and look pretty? O.O Or maybe the tree was lonely and needed flowers for friends. Like how ayu needed that guy to join her wherever she was... But then the snake thing... weird... and then he was part of her... his hair was blond just like hers with a black streak... UGH I don't know

I think that "she" created new life..
So the flowers = her..? And if the mantis is her, then so is the butterfly that got eaten by the mantis.. D:

The snake eating mantus really remind me of animal planet or Nature program.
But the guy in the end remind me of Titus from FF-X for some reason. I think it's the hair.

I think it makes sense now, sorta, Shuya is there in a different time period, and ayumi is there at a different time period...and at the end, they are together
erm......yeah....?

the part that doesn't make sense for me is about the "snake", the "alive hair" eating the grasshopper (right?), as it's squeek to death..it seems pretty scare...
then ayu's covered by her own hair... what are the different between ayu in red kimono and ayu in white kimono in the end hugging the prince acted by Shuya? i only can make sure that the lyric of this song is somehow about soulmate~ |

i'll give it a try...
butterfly, mantus and snake scene: no matter how beautiful or powerful u r, something/someone is better thn u. ayu's trying to say that no matter how many powerful things she had done in the past, something would eventually replace her. people with lantern scene: those are the ones ayu missed. from the start till the very end, ayu's always alone and its quite obvious to prove that point with ayu's expressions. when those people are introduced, they seems to be at the same place but cant c ayu. so this created that "so near yet so far" kinda feeling. ayu dying scene: ayu, a geisha is always so beautiful for the sake of the audience. so she had enough n gave up(letting down of hair). when she do this, she sacrifices everything she gained (cutting of blossoms). after she "dies", she finally get to spend time with her loved ones again. flowers and horse scene: the flowers are the result of ayu's dead body. this means that when she's gone, it doesnt means there's no beauty left, beauty generates itself. the horse is wad brings ayu up to this beautiful place. so in the end, when ayu's gone, it waits for its next owner n bring he/she to another beautiful place. this may imply that ayu sets a level in the media. so when she's gone, someone is going to continue the route to another level. so this pv means a "goodbye" or "let me have some private time first" PERSONALLY Last edited by ~AyUsIcK~; 22nd February 2007 at 08:31 AM. |

It's a mixture of Moments, Will and aymix 4 to me.
It is said that the PV plot is based on an old tale in Japan. When a beautiful woman(ayu and also the butterfly) was killed by an evil (the mantus), she died and turned into a snake to revenge. (the snake eating the mantus) The horse stands for the guy played by Shuya who defended the butterfly. Through thick and thin they were finally together. And that's what the PV tries to show: Jack shall have Jill. That is what I've heard.

so what's the meaning of showing shuya at the end embracing full of love with ayu?
ehm.. i think ayu in the PV represents a princess whose life is prohibited/controlled by law since the setting is liked in the emperor era where she can't freely go outside to see the world and even have relationship with men or with her loved ones. she always wanders around alone only in the area of the emperor's garden with the horse beside her. then, she somehow can't stand anymore with the pressure like that, she falls apart and rotten to death and she leaves a message by having flowers (is it?) grow from her grave which means that she'll never give up or something. and finally, in another life, she comes back again and finally, she meets again with the one she loves, it's SHuya... this PV probably means that "no matter how big obstacles keep on separating us with our loved ones, but with all our strenghs and beliefs, we'll always be together in the end" it's somehow like "faith can't be beaten by humans" |

Yeah, cause the horse must have a pretty big meaning since it's the last thing shown...along with the flowers.

probably that horse means SHUYA???
and the flowers are AYU? coz the blonde hair ayu and the blonde hair SHUYA are somehow like meeting again at HEAVEN? then on the earth, it only left for the horse and flowers? *why the song's lyric has a meaning like HEAVEN ? ehmmmm~* |
