Wow! That's interesting news!

I'm glad Jolin went to go see Ayu. She must really be a big fan ^^

I'm a fan of both Ayumi and Jolin and I can see with my own eyes that Jolin is not copying Ayumi.

With that being said, it's obvious that Jolin is a fan of Ayumi. She went to her concert, just like Ayu went to Madonna's. How would you like it if everyone said that Ayu should be looked down upon and should be crying and shamed and people should "smash" Ayu if they were there because SHE copied Madonna? And of course Ayu should feel ashamed of herself for even showing up at Madonna's concert. Right? It's the same thing as Jolin going to Ayumi's.

... Some comments are okay if you've actually evaluated the situation rationally, but saying that Jolin should be ashamed or even physically hurt because she went to Ayumi's concert, well I think that's just barbaric. Grow up.

Personally I feel honoured that one of Asia's most popular artists ever decided to attend Ayumi's concert.
Exactly. And what if Jolin was NOT the one who wanted to be that way? Maybe she didn't have the choice and Sony decided that. And if i'm not wrong, that was the case until she went with Capitol Records. Just like evolution7931 said, look at her recent music.

That is so cool!!
Even though others may claim Jolin does not have any original ideas, I'll still continue to be a fan.
And since Ayu is my number one artist, it's nice to know that Jolin visited Ayu.

Well, everyone has their idol. And Jolin picked a famous one that's still in fame right now. That's appreciable. =)

Exactly. Honestly all this Jolin hate is so immature

hahaha, just like the kuu and ayu thing. hypocrites and childish alike.

it's cool to know famous ppl go to see other famous ppl's concerts. at least some people are mature/smart enough to know who's original and who's not. it's the truth. those who try to overlook it are immature.

I don't see how ayu being a big fan of madonna attending her last concert (as seen in a deiji deiji diary) and taking ideas from her is any different than jolin doing the same with ayu. I actually find it quite remarkable that these big stars all find their traces from another big star they admire.

THEY ARE ALL ONLY HUMAN. Enough with the immature commentary.

Nice to hear local artists went to ayus concert. Im not surprised jolin went. I wouldnt be surprised if she took some notes too..lol after all ayus concerts are really great to watch. I did see some resemblance in jolins recent concert tour where she had water fountain and the lift up stage with the crystal danglings..but whatever...hopefully her new concert dvd wont have ayus name on it again like her J1 concert dvd.

People's replies in this thread have been so silly... "OMG LETS KILL JOLIN FOR GOING TO AYU'S CONCERT AND COPYING" Why can't yall chillax? Clearly she's a huge fan and yea okay she's inspired by Ayu but everyone knows Ayu copies from Madonna all the time yet I don't people making a big deal out of it here. So basically, for all of you who are going "JOLIN IS A DISGRACE"... that argument applies to Ayu too, and the only original one here is Madonna (which is probably not true cuz God knows she copied from someone else... *eyeroll*)

fashion quuen? i disagree, everyone can be a fashion queen when they dress well and jolin sure knows how to look her best and the girls in taiwan are looking up to her.
why should she get out?

that's what i'm thinking too! ayu's concerts ren't that original either...she do copies some from madonna. and if anyone is screaming that jolin should be ashame of herself, then ayu should be ashame of herself of copying madonna!

and please...although jolin style do resemble ayu in the past few years, BUT she had changed a lot this 2 years! i had NEVER SEE any ayu-like anymore. please do your research before shouting out your views.

I bet Jolin must be weeping while watching Ayumi performing! Haha... Poor girl! I swear if i were there at Ayumi's concert, i would protest against Jolin copying Ayumi and SMASH JOLIN at Ayumi's concert! Haha... I would be lovely! But just a thought, only a thought.
Well I hope you will not do that - you don't want madonna fans to come bashing ayu on her similar styles.

other news?
Cyndi Wang, Wang Zi Jiao [the guy who interviewed ayu], one more female artiste, then one guy from Shin yue tuan if i'm not wrong.

Well it is an honour to have the 'current' Taiwan's fav singer to attend ayu's concert...

Just to let you know, I'm not a Jolin fan anymore and it has nothing to do with her 'copyings' - I just dislike her current style, prefer the older ones.
But I think that people have a right to so-call 'bash' anyone they want to - some might feel rather childish/silly - at least they are just voicing their own opinions. I'm sure most of us have artistes that we don't like and we will 'bash' them 1 way or the other so yeah I dont think they are childish or silly comments. Afterall this is a forum.

It's not surprising at all hehe. I was just thinking Jolin might not be able to make it due to her coming concert in Singapore but seems that she made it after all.

It's really a waste not to watch (whether you are a celebrity yourself or not) when it's like Ayu's first out-of-Japan tour and it's not like that she'll do another Taiwan live in near future. And especially when she can get the VIP seat lols. xD

Even if I weren't an Ayu fan but had the chance to go, I would =)

Yeahhhhh, shes seems to have so much more freedom with Capitol, and I'm REALLY looking forward to the rumored album in May!

With the Taiwanese so influenced by Japanese culture, you can't really blame Jolin for 'copying'. That's how I see it.
