Free & Easy is by far one of the best music videos in history, and definitely one of the most skillful Ayu songs. Absolutely brilliant.

Ayu is probably one of the more complex of the J-Pop queens.
She has the image of an "idol" [not really, but you know what I mean] and the depth of an indies artist.. :O

in masa's site, it says that the song was a reply to that stupid rumor in 2002 saying that Ayu had a person booed because he/she was sitting down in a countdown live. The person was supposedly handicapped, and it was a mess because avex did'nt clarify the rumor at once. just look at the lyrics and see.
