(M)U why do people hate it o_o

I hate (miss)understood as an album, but I like most of the music. In other words, it is a very poorly put together album, and certainly Ayu's least cohesive. It was really just all over the place. However, I like all of the tracks as stand-alone songs with the exception of "Beautiful Day".

In fact, I think (miss)understood had some amazingly significant pieces (alterna, HEAVEN, and Will in particular). It's just that the album sounded... like pieces. Previous albums, while still pulling from different composers and different producers, had a theme or sound that made the tracks seem right at home with one another. (miss)understood failed at that, even more than MY STORY did. Fortunately, Secret saved the day.

Actually I like (miss)understood more than Secret...
Even (m)u is my most favourite ayu's original album (except the BEST album)!

IMO,the pose of ayu in (m)u cover isn't very bad...[except the pic's quality~]
But the photos in booklet are very bad!!! (Luckily they gave extra photobook: on my way & off my day)
Anyway,I still like that album cos it has many fav songs such as: Bold & Delicious,HEAVEN,fairyland,alterna,is this LOVE?,Pride... (almost every songs and also the interludes)

Although the cover and booklet of Secret are better,but I don't really like the songs in this album. I only like few songs from the album: JEWEL,Born To Be...,and 1 LOVE.

I think (m)u is one of Ayu's better albums. It flows really well, to the point where i never want to skip songs. I still listen to it in full once in a while.

A lot of people don't like because of the covers, GEO, and B&D.

I love (miss)understood a lot. I think it's her album with the most variety in terms of pop music style so far. Maybe it's just all the complaining about the covers like other people say...but I personally think they're kind of cute hehe.

i HATED the cover. i wished they could put in more effort in producing a better cover. and another thing i dont like it was that it featured too much about ayu's trip to the US. the album booklet is full of pics of ayu in US! those pics were probably chosen from the pics taken and not specially shot for the album.

but in terms of content, i think its better than Secret cos it has many good songs like alterna, STEP you, fairyland, HEAVEN. featured many singles too..

I don't understand it either! I love (m)u the album and I think the covers are funny... sorta!

the only song i don't like on the (m)u album is Are You Wake Up?, so (m)u is one of my favorite albums!

i dont understand either, the album is very good......although the covers are rather bland and tacky. but other than that, the album really impressed me musically.

hahahha and i should do that. listen to beautiful day while playing resident evil 4 ......lol that would be awesome.

oh yea and the only song i DONT like is in the corner, i dont hate it , i just dont like it

I only had bad criticism for Rainbow...but so did the rest of the world..lol.

Miss is a great album, but the cover could've been one of the reasons like so many other people say. Secret was getting the same harsh judgement for it's simple cover design.

I don't hate it but still it has too many drawbacks for me, i.e.: bad quality DVD cover, ugly CD cover, too many IMO mediocre Sweetbox songs, too american style PVs which doesn't suit Ayu. The only positive sites of this album are photobooks and some earlier songs (step you, is this love, fairyland, alterna, will, heaven, which could make o great mini album), apart from them I only like tasking and criminal. That's to little to be exthusiastic about the whole album.

I really enjoy listening (m)u, I kind of like to listen it a bit more than Secret, but I also enjoy Secret

I only disliked the cover for CD version (good thing I didn't get CD version as X-mas present) I really liked the booklet, it was different for me
my fav songs are criminal (m)u some single tracks and the track I hated the most was Beautiful Day, I just skip that song every time it comes

When you really think about it, you realize that (miss)understood has some really great songs. (Besides the utterly crap In The Corner) I agree with whoever said that the album is in pieces, but when you look past that, it's all gravy.
I also found myself really loving some tracks after 50+ listens, when they finally showed what they were really about. Like... Pride and fairyland. At first, they sounded very annoying to me, but now I think they're genius.

Some of it was good, and some of it was bad for me. The GEO songs were hit and miss, they were either really bad (B&D) or good/average, some didn't really suit Ayu much. She was trying different styles, but like evolusean said, it was poorly put together and didn't seem to have theme running through it like the rest of Ayu's albums. I have mixed feelings about it now, because when it was good it was brilliant, but when it was bad it was awful. Overall, a bit of a weak album because it was poorly done.

I love (miss) understood.
The tracks on there are so strong, I love them.

It's funny how people complain about the poor quality photos, and then I look at what's being said about her recent single covers
