Ayu is not a great mover; her body moves very stiffly. Of course, she is a hard worker, so she was able to at least pull off the Real Me dance from a technical aspect. But she just doesn't have the training to make it look particularly great. It's evident that she loves to dance, though, so her lack of strength in the area is really unfortunate -- it means we get simple, silly Japanese-theatrical choreography, instead of proper hip-hop. If Ayu really underwent some serious dance training, though, I wouldn't mind if she took on more dancing. A lot of her music could really stand it.

That isn't true. Hundreds of thousands of live performers do this every day; Broadway performers make a living out of singing, dancing, and acting at the same time. The people who can't sing and dance at the same time either have really bad asthma, or haven't put in enough physical conditioning.

Well, after having done the evolution/flower garden/until that Day.../AUDIENCE/Boys & Girls combination at CDL0607, she really didnt sing Boys & Girls that well and she was drenched in sweat. She looked exhausted. But she does exercise, which we saw in the CDL0607 documentary. Maybe she's just not that strong?

i feel that its ok for ayu to come out with a song that she will dance fully.. something like Real me. but not all the time.. i dont need another BoA.

and also for talkin' 2 myself, yeah. i think she could have danced with the dancers cos its quite awkward for her to do the same actions and trying to be rock at the same time. lol

Well In her pv's I wouldnt mind her dancing ,but in her live performaces i'd rather have her focus on her singing than dancing . I mean if she were to focus more on her singing it wouldnt sound right . And to be honest even though her performaces are great. Her dancing isnt as good as her singing.

I don't really think she's that great of a dancer. So I'd rather her not dance a whole lot.

I sure do wish she would dance more instead of standing in the background...it's nice to have the dancers doing their thing, but I think she should include herself in more of it. I'm not saying she has to go all out at lives, then how would she be able to sing and still sound good? I'm just saying that she could do more in the PV's.

i aree. at her current level of dancing skills, i prefer her to leave the dancing to the professionals... it almost doesn't look right (but kudos for giving it a go ayu!). but if ayumi were to undertake lessons, then i'd love to see her do some more dance routines

I personally don't understand how dancing is impressive or even good to watch done by anyone (although, there are some exceptions). So, I rather her not.

I wouldn't mind more dance sequences in live performances like 'until that Day...' @ CDL 06-07. PV's, not so much.

Although she wasn't exactly dancing with the dancers the whole time, I loved it in t2m. And why doesn't the music fit the dancing? I think the dancing was very necessary for the song, think of it like MJ's 'Beat It' or Pat Benatar's 'Love is a Battlefield'.

I'm not saying she doesn't do any dancing at all, I just wish she would include herself in it more often in PV's that she has the beat to dance to. ^^ Despite what some others think of her dancing skills, I believe she's a pretty nice dancer.

I totally agree because she's very stiff...but I still wish she danced more...she needs better choreography or more practice. That little snip from t2m PV came out pretty nice.

IMHO her dance is good for the pvs where she may work with playback but what she does recently, meaning having such dances that she can also use singing live, annoy me. She usually makes few moves and for the rest of the song she's just standing and watching, it doesn't look good plus the little dancing she does affects her vocal which we could see in the latest a-nation.

YESSS I love when Ayu dances! When I watched the glitter live at MS I was like omg she is dancing.. even though it was simple dance moves during the verse, you could tell she was having so much fun doing it, I love that. Then in the t2m MS live I was just like omg. during the bridge I could not believe Ayu danced like that! So yes, I'd love to see her put more training into her dancing because she definately has potential and she likes it so much.

Also, I'm sure she can do a dance and sing at the same time. She's well trained at moving around and singing at the same time.. In her tours she runs all over that stage and claps her hands and goes crazy and still sings.. A choreographed polished dance is something I think she's fully capable of doing without hurting her vocals at all

... and Why are people mentioning my name's WOMEN? LOL She did not dance in that PV like at all. CHiharu and Etsu did.. Ayu just kinda stood there.. And in Real Me she just had like that 1 dance sequence.. although it was really good. She danced better in like.. Inspire & fairyland.. than my name's women..

Real Me = type dancing, yes.
Talkin' 2 Myself/Inspire/my name's women = type dancing, lame.

real me is the only real real choregraphed dance she does to me, everything else is like "instant quick"

no, i think the way it is now is graet. dancing requires a lot of practice, and it means she will have less time to write songs!
