I can tell the difference between Japanese, Korean and Chinese Music. Sometimes its a little harder with Korean and Japanese but once you listen to Korean for a tiny bit and here this sorta weird tone in their voice you can tell its Korean and not a whole bunch of Japanese you dont know.
I can tell when the artists I know are singing a song |

Definitely. Japanese, Korean, and Chinese are all distinctly different. When I hear Taiwanese being spoken I always think of it like Chinese though. Hmm.

I can tell the difference except between Chinese, taiwanese. HK music is a bit standout but its hard to tell sometimes~
I only listen to pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ music and i dont really think it's Asian music. Altho its originated from Asia, the quality and the taste is very very different from other Asian music. It's one of a kind on its own. |

1, its very easy and I don't even speak any of the languages..yes even chinese.
To non-asian's i dunno it might be harder, not generalizing or anything. But most are like that way, haha all my friends think everything is japanese. Japanese is the simplest for me to differentiate. Its cause it uses simple syllables and I can understand quite a few words. As if you couldn't tell the difference. Then Korean - I know it as, the muddled up asian language that is very hard to pronounce unless you are pro with a great accent. I don't listen to korean music too much, but still its pretty simple to hear. Chinese - Easy to hear cause of accents and instead of ching chongs I hear more xiao shi all those kind of shhh sounds. Taiwanese - Its very similar to chinese but its sounds a bit different in pronunciation and stuff. I guess I have more trouble with it. If its canto I can easily tell since I speak the language haha, but I have never listened to canto music except for my parents ones OR from olden day dramas like Journey to the West, that I used to watch when I was little. Now i could do all the asian languages but i cbf, I can also tell indo/malay cause I learn it at school =____=

1. Yes, Since I'm part Chinese its REALLY easy to tell the difference. Korean has the weird pronunciation and sounds (no offense) that I don't hear in Japanese songs so I can tell the difference between them.
