What do you guys think should've been the singles? For me it would've been:

-The Workout
-You Make Me Want To Be A Man
-About Me
-Hotel Lobby

That would've been awesome. I'm listening to EXODUS right now and wow... really brings back memories. I listened to this album so much during a certain point in my life and it's really making me nostalgic *sniff*

I luv Animato to death too. It's something about that song that makes me feel good inside. The melody and lyrics are just awesome. THE LYRICS ARE JUST FANATASTIC!

I don't think most americans would have liked Animato if it was a single. I would have though. I would have luved a pv for it.

Oops, we both made typos, lol. But either way that song's lyrics make me go "wat". That's the big problem I had with EXODUS... the lyrics were awkward. Like, why does she have to sing about "born-again Christians" when she's making a club song? Sorry, Hikki, but stuff like that (and the King Tutankhamun reference) is just not necessary at all. Also, did anyone else feel like her enunciation or something was really strange. Like she always sounded out of breath and like she was stretching her words too much. Really awkward.

Yeah, it didn't get much on the promotional scale so a flop was pretty much inevitable. But the least they could have done was make some nice videos and release stronger songs as singles.

Although I did enjoy Devil Inside - WHY was there no PV?!

Devil Inside was such a catchy song. I'm not surprised it was a club hit.

In really wish Kremlin Dusk was a single, it was my favourite song on the album. I love the bit which starts when she goes "Born in a war of opposite attraction...". It seems so dramatic and I love it!

I dun really like Kremlin Dusk, dunno why.
And I hope the English album will be something like HEART STATION: soothing, but with deep thoughts (well all her jpn albums have deep thoughts anywayz). For the lead single, I hope it'll be something more serious, rather than silly "I'm Japan-ne-se". No more stupid video, no more weird make up.. Something more natural...

It's good to bring her Japanese image to the western anywayz. It's already proven that the ancient geisha look didn't work at all.

Is anyone else kinda scared for Hikki? The American music scene is dominated by such craptacular stuff lately... it's all about ridiculous hooks and awful beats. No one really cares about good music. The only refreshing artist I've seen in a while is Leona Lewis.

Single out now


Come to think of it, I remembered my Prisoner Of Love single is out now.

(Which I'd forgotten about, as I didn't do any promotional works this time)


You know this is my all-time fave jacket to date (lol)

She's eating a mikan (lol)

You see an eager expression on her side face . . . and when you look closer, you'll find her eating a mikan (lol)


Also I love the colors in it. Like purple, orange, yellow and orange-tan.

The photographer-san took a lot of shots while we were doing the video shooting. Just like those photos taken during the concerts.

I wasn't aware of the cameras at all, had no idea when I was shot, so I was like "Ah~ so he was taking my photos at that time~!" during checking my photos.

It's fun, to see me in some casual looks on my face in the photos. Looks kinda like some personal photos.


And this keyboard, seen in the back.

It's the same one you saw in the message "Glasses and keyboard," and seriously I've been regularly using it for over 5 years.

And you know what!

It passed away right on this shooting day . . .

I set it up, turned the switch on, and saw the lamp lit up for a second, then gone out. It became completely silent.

I've got a new keyboard for myself and been using it now, but I must admit I haven't felt an attachment to it yet.


Whenever those keyboards or other interfaces that I'd used for a long time break, they remain at my home without being abandoned . . . I always find it hard to determine where to place them and I can't place them in the corridor and such cuz they'll stand in the way, so eventually I end up putting them placing like in the restroom, which make my friends surprised when they visit my home (lol)

I also got this big keyboard called Triton in the restroom (not a huge room at all, just in a normal size! (lol)) of my NY apartment, which make me surprised as well, like when I'm half asleep in the midnight.


Well, so, that's how it is.

This single jacket has become something like a commemorative one, which is a good thing( ; _ ; )
