Has Ayu ever helped you?

I can't say she actually 'helped' me..but sometimes when I was unhappy, listening to her songs and lyrics makes me feel that her songs really tell what I think...when she is singing her heart out, it makes me feel that she is singing my feelings out

I mean Ayumi just wrote lyrics, sang and created music. It probably wasn't a goal of hers to help people when they were depressed. But, she has helped many people in different ways. At one time I was really sad and I discovered her. When I listened to her and read her lyrics it was really strange. She helped me to feel more connected to myself, and even prompted me to write my own lyrics. Not really any other artist is able to do that.

Miss Hamasaki has changed my life in so many ways I never was good at many things I never liked singing but when I herd Ayumi sing it was increadible then I wanted to know more about her I read and I was so amazed she is my hero my hero I dont say that to any shes given me a gift you want to see how much she helped me come visit this my youtube page I sing her songs Im not japanese thanks to her I have so many friends... She hasn't helped me with any particular difficult situation, but I will admit that she cheers me up when I hear her voice. Her songs are full of love and hope <3

Well, I usually rely on music more than on anything/anyone else when I need comfort. I don't really go through "bad times" or "tough things"...there's just a series of things I dislike about my life that get me down sometimes (just like any other person, lol.) and at those times I just need to cry until I'm normal again. Eh, I always have a series of songs that I can relate to or that tell exactly what I need to hear when I'm overwhelmed, and it always feels comforting to know I have something like that to "support" me.

Since Ayu writes such inspiring lyrics, has such a large discography and is my favorite artist, obviously a LARGE portion of these songs are hers Plus, since Ayu writes so much about herself it's easy to end up feeling like you know her, like you understand her. So when I'm relying on her songs, I feel almost like I'm relying on a friend rather than an insensitive source of support - more so than with any other artist.

I hope I don't sound too pathetic I do have friends, but they're not there when you start feeling depressed at 1am on Saturday
