Thanks for sharing! Sure enough that they are trying to do something different, with the fact this is the first time she is going to release an album in the spring...

That's really an innovative idea to add a USB flash drive to it. But sure enough, she's going to really compete with Kuu (their albums are not studio albums, they're "best" albums) and Tohoshinki (remember the "talkin' 2 myself" single when she competed with them for #1?), two Avex in-house artists.

Hopefully she can get #1 here - but Japanese should stick on the #1 quest for "Rule/Sparkle" - because right now her #1 streak is on the line already (competing with Dreams Come True, another "good" artist), because she might be on the odds with the group with Miwa Yoshida...

@VAL: I know. =) That tracklist doesn't have interludes. Nor Mirrorcle World. I'm just guessing that the album will have interludes, and Mirrorcle World is going to be on it because the DVD has 6 PVs and Ayu always does 2 new PVs so that means MW has to be on it (unless Sparkle suddenly got one but I highly doubt that she'd do 3 PVs for an album).

Secret had 3 new PVs though (JEWEL, 1 LOVE and momentum).

tohosinki has no album that sold like any of ayu's studio albums by far so they are not really a threat unless if they will surprise somehow, though it's very unlikely.
kumi's BESTs also might not be a big competition since those are 2 in one day and they might be treated like BEST ~BOUNCE & LOVERS~ which sold less also than all of ayu's studio albums. 2 in one day might even make it lower (and the both are like half best/half remix) remixes aren't really popular anymore though there is still a small chance of surprise but I doubt.

ayu also debuting that limited USB thing and it will be counted towards oricon so it really can get the sales higher.

For Rule/Sparkle - I really hope avex will start promoting it already.

It's a great song, yes, but we have it on A COMPLETE.
Hopefully it's exclusive to that album just like RAINBOW is to A BALLADS.

I'm excited... but now I have to turn off all image displays on AHS because every time she announces a new album I don't allow myself to see the cover or tracklist until I get the album in hands. Nor do I listen to previews/leaks.

Oh, and I love the title. Better than GUILTY & (miss)understood.

I can't believe the whole MW debate is still going on. I've been worried about this ever since A COMPLETE got released, that MW might get released on her new album, also. I mean, as much as I love the song, it's already been an intro to GUILTY, it's gotten it's own 10th anniversery single release and it was released on a compilation. C'mon, enough already! Before I actually start to dislike the song.

Obviously, those tracks on the CD must be live recordings of her real voice, not lipsyncs.

I think right now Kumi is not really a big threat to Ayu...especially after the sales of Trick. The albums seem to be targeted to the hardcore fans so I don't think they'll be hot sellers.

And I am guessing avex are planning to promote the album and single at one shot. Probably end of February/March shall be used for promotion and "Rule" or "Sparkle" shall be performed.

Oh, I did not know that. How could Tohoshinki is kind of lower than Ayu? Does anybody have data to exactly compare how Tohoshinki fares in albums along with Ayu's?

And I think Kuu is just too much of a split, unlike Ayu's going on a four-versions-in-one-type, so I think Ayu has a bit of a better advantage...

Hopefully the single that would be released exactly four weeks to the album's release get #1 weekly - very critical...

They say there's going to be about 13 songs in the album - but using the USB flash drive to listen to Ayu's songs on your computer? That is a really cool idea by the Avex Group guys...

Yep + kumi's bests are just 1 cd versions.
