YUI will hold her 5th tour concert, the title is still to be announced.
The tour starts on this November 13 and ends on January 25 next year.

YUI tops Oricon weekly chart with “Green a.live”

Singer-songwriter YUI released her 20th single, “Green a.live“, on October 5th, and topped the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking by selling a total of 56,000 copies in its first week! This is her first time topping the single charts since “to Mother“, which was released in June of last year.

“Green a.live” is YUI’s first song that she wrote after the Tohoku Earthquake. Since the disasters, the singer has held acoustic lives at schools in stricken areas, and has been doing charity work through her lives. The title “Green a.live” means, “to live inside the earth“.

YUI expressed her happiness by saying, “I have so much gratitude for everyone who has always supported me. In this song, I was able to include the message I want to deliver, and my thoughts about how we shouldn’t forget our beginning. I want to move forward with everyone while enjoying everyday.”
