Actually when you watch Mannie's fans jump from 1500 to 27000 over night cause of their tweets, it really makes it more likely with Johnny's to jump at the chance for 10s of thousands of her fans to become fans of their star. Plus her fanbase then was higher than in 2010 with Mannie. And who knows how much money Avex would pay for the help.

How would a seven-year relationship be merely a publicity stunt, anyway? That requires dedication, and frankly would not be worth it. With the way Ayu carries herself, I don't think she would stoop that low.

Did any one hate on Mannie before their divorce? I remember thinking it wouldn't last and though he was fug, but I didn't hate him, and I don't remember anyone hating on him until after. I think Timmy is the only on who is really hated on before leaving her posse.

IIRC, most people were either happy for them or didn't really care. And then there were the few vocal haters but there's always a few of those around anyway.

The hate was already going strong when that happened, part of that was because her fanbase kept stalking on him and believed anything he posted was about Ayu, like he hasn't anything better to do with his life.

If her fans, that doesn't know her better than he does (publicity stunt or not), had just left the guy alone, that probably would not happen.

You know I find it ridiculous that people are even thinking about requesting Ayu as a friend on facebook - can't people let her have something of her OWN? She gives us everything, let her have something personal for personal use... That being said, I did go snooping on her "likes", but I see no real benefit or need to have her as a facebook friend.

I'm guessing hundreds have been adding her for a while, and yet she still has only a few friends. I'm guessing she will reject anyone she doesn't know and keep that particular Facebook page private. We have her fanpage on Facebook already, so there's no real point adding her really.

@happi: I do remember people hating on him a bit, just because they didn't like him, or "trust" him. I remember a good amount of people feeling like he wasn't good enough for Ayu, especially because he wasn't that successful with his career....and I do remember racist comments being made as well because he wasn't Japanese.

@andre: maybe, maybe not. Who knows. I know his one friend was mad at everyone...but Mannie did say things on his own, separately.



and meh about having her on facebook. Already have her on twitter. I bet if she started adding everyone, it would be annoying to comment on things, like with other celebrities.

@Koumori Thank you for replying. I just wanted to make sure if we can add her or not, and I think that facebook account is for her personal use only.

Who cares, we don't know her personally. She gives us music, we buy and listen to it. That is the only exchange. We are not obligated to know her private life.

my only concern is hacking, people are going to go at her account like crazy. even if she wants to have a regular facebook account it still has to censored like crazy.
