I feel like for me, personally, BENI has become very boring. Because she has no original material and I wonder how long she's gonna do covers of the covers of the covers of the best lmao

oh come on already, she was just trying to get some more people to notice her after the first cover album worked, but still it didn't stop her from releasing original stuff in between releases... This year marks her 10th anniversary since her debut, it was pretty obvious she was gonna add in some covers...

UGH, so sick and tired of people complaining of her covers, she actually puts work into them, it's not like they're simply Japanese covers, they actually translate the songs in English and add in a little "BENI" style to them. Some of them are actually pretty good, considering. And anyway, nobody forces anybody to listen to them.

I can however understand it feels like ages since she has released any new material if we skip on Two Hearts and I do miss her original stuff. Hopefully she will release a new single in September or something.. sick of waiting -_-

Much as I want BENI to release original material , it does annoy me when people said they're sick of her releasing cover songs in English

Nobody forces you to listen to them in the 1st place . Even I myself listen to selective covers that BENI does as I'm not familiar with quite a lot of them she chose to cover

For the record , BENI is the 1 that personally translated all the original songs in Japanese to English herself . I think this's something she's not given enough due credit , where most if not everyone only knows how to complain complain & more complain

Let alone how often you find other artistes that covered Japanese songs in English ?

I don't see the issue here. Some people simply don't like covers, and that's okay. Doesn't really matter what she does with them, covers are covers. I would love for her to pop out something original, too. If she does covers then it's whatever lol I just simply ignore it and wait for the next release. Which will probs be COVERS 4.
