For practice, I did my own translation of that song. I personally like looking at multiple translations 'cause it's interesting seeing the slight differences that arise, so if you're also into that kind of thing, you can see my translation here ^^

girlish was one of my least favorites but has actually grown on me recently. girlish was just boring to me though, Humming makes me want to pull my hair out.

Sunrise reminded me of Independent when it came out. That made me happy cause I always liked Independent. I don't choose it listen to it too often these days though.

Yeah she hasn't released many "carefree" type songs in a while. For a few years it seemed like every album was going to get one at the end, but that eventually stopped.

Personally I don't like Humming 7/4 but I love all the other ones.

I think our last carefree-as-we-know-it-from-Ayu album track was MY ALL. And before that, Beautiful Day. I guess you could potentially lump Thank U in there too but recently she's got a lack of them, or if she does them, they have a bit of "fierceness" to them or lack the raw feel that we used to get from those kinds of tracks. Typically, the songs were characterized by also utilizing her actual concert backing band and had some "unplugged" moments in them, neither of which we really get anymore. I believe she still tries to sneak one per album, but they're not the same as the usual album closers she has other than maybe NOW & 4EVA.

I do wonder if the lack of such tracks is because she doesn't really put compositions of her own on albums anymore since she seemed to always do them on her own or with DAI when they appeared up till MY STORY.

Humming for me requires a certain mood. When I love it, I love it. When I'm not into it, I don't want to be near it, lol.

I'm completely OK with Ayu cussing on a song. But, to be honest, I think Koda Kumi should do it first. Maybe once Koda has put out FUCK OF MY LIFE, Ayu can take a dive into it. But I feel like Ayu doing it first would be awkward...

^ I get weirded out hearing Ayu curse in clips and such. I think I've heard her say Fuck once or twice before in a random video I found on youtube and it leaves me with this face like O.O I can see Koda rocking the word, Namie already has with ROCK U but with Ayu... I don't know. Now there's a part of me that has to hear it, especially if she uses it in that high-pitched rapping voice she used in My Way. xD

Did Ayu at some point of her career wanted to release a double studio album?
At the time when Party Queen was released or maybe even Love again I think that she said in a few interviews that that was something that she always thinking of doing but couldn't or thats how I interpreted at least

Listen to it on the rain on the bus and you become dat Ayu.

I also do the concert dances in my head for like Boys & Girls/MY ALL/etc. when those songs come up, lol.

I do that sometime with GREEN , Mirrocle World and a couple of more songs
