I think this is my favourite song from her atm, can't get enough of it!
People seem to dislike "boy boy don't be shy, girl girl like sunshine" part but I think it's cute. It makes the song feel like it's all about having fun with friends while summer lasts and to enjoy the moment without any serious thoughts after all we've gone through the past 3 years It gives me hope for better tomorrow for some reason

In the beginning the difference wasn't too big, Summer Again had ~220k after 36h vs Nonfiction's ~250k. But Nonfiction already had 500k views after 4 days vs Summer Again's 500k in 7 days. Nonfiction probably did better since the video came out on release day + there was some more hype with how it got announced. I think the challenge definitely helped a bit, too. I remember Ayu mentioning another challenge for the summer – I wonder if that's still gonna happen or if they scrapped the idea. It could give the song a little push, although I do believe that Nonfiction just has a "certain something" – possibly the aesthetics since Ayu doesn't have anything quite like it in her videography. Plus, the "are you kidding me?" & "you're full of shit" lines definitely got quite some attention by fans, haha! However, if the views remain steady then I'm sure Summer Again will reach 1M in the near future. At least I hope so!

I'm not feeling this song at all, a bit annoying to me, repetitions in chorus always seem tiring but here nothing really flows together. I'm trying to like it, maybe a live version will be better although with her recent vocals I really doubt it

Ayu posted lots of photos of her in the blue look & in the cave. She captioned both posts with "recovery photo dump" so I'm wondering if she's recovering from an injury of they recovered some footage that previously was lost?
I'm probably overthinking it but it's clear that she likes this look a lot, so I'm wondering why it was barely included. I guess it could simply be that the footage wasn't good enough for her or something.

Still such a jam
I too wonder if there were more scenes from the 'cave setting' that we did not get to see as they didn't make the cut. Either that or Ayu wanted more 'gold outfit' shots because of how heavy the headwear was. And if so, I don't blame her, got to get the most out of that painful (and stunning) outfit, haha.
