[2007] Things you hate about Ayu? OMG.

I don't hate, I'm just sad that Ayu no longer composes, and I think there should be international TA (^_^)

Well, there's nothing I hate about Ayu the person since I don't know her (plus in my deluded fan's eye she's practically perfect in every way) but there is somethings regarding her music and career that I absolutely loathe.

1. evolution.-- Never liked the song and the fact that it shows up on ALL of her freaking setlists pisses me off to no end. There are some Ayu songs I don't like but this is the only one I actually hate.

2. Her rock heavy albums.-- It's not that I don't like her rock songs, in fact in that regard I think Ayu is pretty superior to other Rock/Pop acts BUT her mostly rock albums tend to be an almost bore. The ballads aren't as good as that are on her more diverse albums like RAINBOW and m(u) (excluding Secret because momentum and JEWEL are incredible) and there is tends to be filler which hardly any of her pop albums have.

3. The bug eye thing she does during photoshoots.-- I love Ayu's big beautiful eyes but that's just it. They're already big, she really doesn't need to widen her eyes in pictures. They look alien and make her look unnatural which makes me cringe because I know she's a beautiful woman but some of her photos are just... ugh.

4. CREA HAS DISAPPEARED!!!!-- RAINBOW. Enough said.

5. Her setlists.-- It's a very bad sign when only after viewing 3 totally unrelated live concerts by a single artist you already got the "pattern" of their concerts downpacked.

6. Lack of experimentation these days-- After Secret and Guilty, Next Level gave me some hope that she was attempting to "switch" it up again... only to have RnRC crush it. -_- Lady Dynamite, Don't Look Back, and Sexy Little Things were the only tracks on that album that I'd consider "fresh" and will probably still be listening to years down the road.

Lastly, I want to see her raw beauty like in ASFXX and Loveappears days. I don't mind the glitz and glamor but I'd really like to see her show off her natural beauty... just once in a while.

God, I can't believe I forgot about that atrocioty. Some thought the Next Level cover was hideous... S/S and m(u) have to be two of the worst albums covers I've ever seen. In both of them, Ayu's hair looks competely fake (even more so than usual), her make-up's horrible, and they're just... bad! lol

I actually have a feeling there's going to be an international TA in the future. Something about this sudden interest in her overseas fans is giving me a strong feeling about this possibly happening.

Nothing like that. She's really close to them and won't let go due to emotional ties even when professionally speaking, they're not the best.

-she's so attracting me although she's not really good in her voice nor performances. But she's still makes me love her!
-she's so famous! If she's not, I would never know her and don't waste my money on her!

I know this is too much. But it's my opinion..

its amusing. i think its just easy for people to hate on anything and express it. its hard for me to use hate. just because i always feel one must say something nice if theyre going to say something negative (it actually works for people not getting mad at u).

anyway. when its ayu or many others. its like many are just sitting back waiting to be able to criticize. some in a childish non-constructive way.


i think i can add something to my not so serious hate list too. why doesnt ayu tour in america?? T.T my fav v-kei bands have been here. why not her? T.T

- She hase her dancers in her video's, I see them enough in live shows.
- Peco, she is wearing clothes for younger woman, and she is OLD.
- Not enough pop-songs.
- She use awsome thing in shows, but it can be more extreme, Like a spy dropping on a rope out of the air or something.
- A bit the same style tour costumes.

I'm pretty sure I'm repeating for the 80th time stuff that everyone else has said, but I am a little irked by one or two things.

- I miss the remix/trance albums. With the exception of "Evolution", the song that really got me listening to Ayu was "M (Above and Beyond Remix)". I love trance music like crazy and I miss that she hasn't released any in a while, but I also wasn't overly crazy about the Ayu-Mi-X 6 Gold/Silver albums. They sounded a bit stale. I still listen to them, but not as much as I do most of her other albums.

- The plastic surgery thing as well. I know I'm not the only one who thinks it's obvious she's had a few things done (compare the "Daybreak" PV to "Days" PV-- it's pretty obvious). It's not that big a deal, but I do wish she would stop trying to keep it such a secret. I thought she was gorgeous to begin with, but having a few procedures done which did actually work in her favor and seemed to boost her confidence is not something to be ashamed of. I think she would gain even more respect from her fans if she said something about it. The celebrities I admire most are those who aren't afraid to show that they are human beings, too.

There are people who've confessed. Plastic surgery isn't a shameful thing to admit to nor does it make someone a horrible person.
