The magazine is to look at naked ladies, that's all. And what do you think is the purpose of all her sexual innuendos on pv's and music?? it's the same thing people even use music to have sex too =P.

I think there is a place for everything and I really don't want to sound rude either with the next comment but I prefer to have the right to choose if I want to see a vagina in a adult magazine than MTV showing it to me on telephone 24/7 like it was the mona lisa, or watch softporn than having to watch Alejandro.

that's how I feel. I don't know why ppl would loose respect, just because it's playboy, like jbrat2219 said before: "Playboy will not be the straw to break the camel's back lol."

but far from all that I think she's doing playboy so she could extend the drama on the hermaphrodite subject.

No one is attempting to take that right away from her here. It's one thing to criticize or even dislike, and another to go all crazy like that old chick on Fox News saying she should be banned from TV.

I think in general humanity fails to realize that not everyone is going to like everything.

here's what director Steven Klein says about Alejandro PV:

“The religious symbolism is not meant to denote anything negative, but represents the character’s battle between the dark forces of this world and the spiritual salvation of the Soul,” Klein explained. “Thus at the end of the film, she chooses to be a nun, and the reason her mouth and eyes disappear is because she is withdrawing her senses from the world of evil and going inward towards prayer and contemplation.”

Klein added that the scene in which Gaga ingests the rosary beads is meant to represent “the desire to take in the holy.”

whoever came up with this explanation must be an AHS member, its about as far fetched as some of the explanations of ayumi PVs i've seen here.

being a member of the gay community myself, i actually found the whole idea of this video and her "tribute" to the gays to be kind of insulting. first, the guys in the video are more into gaga than each other, and second to be a tribute to the gay community the video has to be full of half naked men? overall, i can't quite place my finger on it, but the video bothers me a little.

not to say the song isn't catchy though.

The whole "tribute" thing kinda bothered me too. We don't need "tributes", we just need Gaga to be her fabulous self...which this video was, but it kinda got undermined.
