I'm sorry, but I find it kinda ironic that you complain about Ayumi/avex milking the fans yet you have an AKB48 signature. AKB48 is living proof that milking fans to crazy amounts for stupid reasons does work.
This may be partly affected by the high price considering the low amount of songs, but that can't be the only aspect. Especially when again has more new material than LOVE yet sells much worse and the most successful group in Japan right now is the one with the most insane milking strategies on the entire market.

Seems that the above list that mizuki-7 posted are albums that were originally only sold on their official site but now CDJapan is selling them which all titles will be out on Jan 2013

Avex should use some of that money that comes from milking AKB fans on Ayu's next mini album and go on the experimental pop route again. Party Queen was going to the right direction imo.

Don't forget they ALWAYS release 4 or 5 versions of their singles with different tracklists and one of x postcards, too. Money milking machines. I really wonder how much they would sell without those gimmicks, maybe 200-400k/single?

I actually work with marketing and advertising and I admit I wouldn't really know where or how to start promoting someone on Ayu's position...

But whatever... most people here would just try dressing her cute and forcing her down people's throat by puting her everywhere until her career no longer exist by oversaturation...
