Yeah, looking back at last nights concert, she definitely sounded better in the second half of the main encore, or at least from Together When... on.
Missing & Snowy Kiss were definitely not the best vocals... I found myself thinking something like when is this Snowy Kiss going to be over... she was shouting, and flailing around trying to find Shu-ya... and overall the audience just wasn't feeling it as well... the chorus is way too long, especially for her vocals which get tired about half way through the chorus. That being said she didnt have any real notable poor vocal parts, like she did in 2007-2008. I also found the concert to be underwhelming for the start of her 15th year anniversary, but then again, 2007-2008 wasnt any great shakes either. Probably next year's will be even bigger. I absolutely loved the video at the beginning though. The use of alterna videos, Rule videos, Ourselves, so many dark PVs... it was a real nice throwback to the past. Who... & My All... definitely cried. I love those songs! And Beautiful Fighters and Fly High, she looks so cute! I love it! Had Arena seats last night, but I'm thinking that actually the first floor of the stands had the better view. |

I think 07-08 paled to 08-09 in terms of the show she wanted to put on, so many 13-14 will be the same for the 15th anniversary? We'll see!

The first half was better on the first night but still good imo I cried so much when she sang who... it was perfect |

im afraid of her voice for certain songs like Wake me up, she struggled a lot with it,else im happy with what I heard.
will we get to see the WOWOW version tomorrow? any chance someone will rip it? I just cant wait to see this CDL!

I think Yukari said it when she first saw it too, but this performance of Together When... really made me like the song a lot more. Up until now I've always found it to be kind of...blah, but the performance was beautiful! It was most definitely her most ethereal performance to date.
I wonder if it'll be carried over to this year's tour? (concept wise) Overall I'd say she did really well last night. I was worried when I watched Kouhaku and the first note out of her mouth was off (sorry, but it was haha) but CDL was very well done. My highlights were Wake me up, Together When..., and snowy kiss. Although I have to say, I've grown tired of her "i love you, but I hate you, but I'm running away, and now you're running away, I'm reaching out for you, you're reaching out for me, let's hug" concept. But yeah, I had fun. Wish I could've heard Ivy though!

^^ yeap, I said it
 so, I went to all 3 concerts. all of us went: me, macmaayu, OyTony and her husband also we met Earth_Maiden, Suteisi, Chris and SURREAL_RAINBOW at the venue yesterday, I bought the ticket for the C4 three hours before the show. and it was veeeery good seat!! SURREAL_RAINBOW was siting 2 rows behind me. I can say that the feelings from all 3 concerts differ very much. The first day I was sitting in 2nd floor of stand and I saw the show fully. Also, it was the best seat to watch Together when... performance. Then, the 2nd day me and macmaayu were seating in B4, it's the opposite to A and C. I thought like she mainly performed for A and C rather than to other sides, but then the 3rd day I had C4, I understood that B4 was good too. I was crying a lot in the second day the thing was that she always started and ended the song looking towards to A and C. As there were crane and royal, the first row of E, F, G are also veeery good! She clapped every fan in royal (during Trauma), waaah so envy  btw I just saw Kouhaku performance... I don't know why it's a bit weak -.- even people in jpopsuki commented like "oh, she's going down"... because the concerts were soo great, one just can't say "she's going down". Also, here's in AHS there's a poll about the hiatus. I was thinking about that, but after the concerts I've understood that she won't have hiatus for sure, not this year at least. music is her life and I'm sure she'll continue doing concerts. I understood that she's now a concert artist, not a tv artist. Also, as I went to all concerts, I got the feeling that the first two days she was more spontaneous, funny, live. But the third day as there were a lot of cameras, the concert was shooting for DVD, it made me feel that it's a liiiitle bit staged, like we all are starring for the movie. sorry, if nobody else got this feeling, may be it's just me. btw she cried all 3 days!! aww, anyways, I'm sure that every fan should attend ayu's concert at least once! it opened my eyes to a lot of songs that I didn't like before and seeing her is such an incredible experience... aww. so now, I like Together when, until that Day..., Humming 7/4 waaaay more than I used to. I'm sure she'll bring Together when concept to arena tour!!! I hope so, because it was soo amazing
