NTV reveals artist line up for 'Best Artist 2014'

NTV has revealed the artist line up for its special music program 'Best Artist 2014' which will broadcast on November 26 from 7:00 pm to 9:54 pm.

The 31 artists who have been announced at this time include Arashi, EXILE TRIBE, Mr.Children, SEKAI NO OWARI, aiko, Ikimonogakari, Golden Bomber, Johnny's WEST, Superfly, Tackey & Tsubasa, Nogizaka46, Perfume, and May J. The 3-hour program will feature a special medley by the Johnny's groups, as well as an Arashi special medley.

Aiba Masaki & Ikuta Toma are in love with each other?

On November 17, Arashi member Aiba Masaki held a promotional event for his starring movie "MIRACLE Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou" (to be released on the 22nd) in Yokohama.

Together with his co-star, Ikuta Toma, Aiba attended the Christmas tree ceremony as the surprise guest. At the event, the two talked about how they spent last Christmas Eve, which is also Aiba's birthday, together. Ikuta said, "I just hope I can spend the day with Aiba-kun... well with Masaki again," and Aiba responded, "I am sure we are. I love you," which brought a loud scream from the audience.

After the lighting ceremony, Aiba and Ikuta also appeared at the stage greeting held at Yokohama Burg 13. Even during the stage greeting, they both showed off that they were in love with each other.

Aiba revealed that he was with Ikuta on the 3rd, which was Arashi's 15th anniversary since they released their debut single. Aiba said, "He celebrated at the moment it turned on the 3rd for me." Ikuta then told Aiba, "Should we just go steady?" Aiba answered right away, "If you are okay with me." Looking at those two being lovey-dovey, Eikura Nana, who was also in attendance, said, "I feel uncomfortable standing between them."

Ikuta also revealed that Aiba's fellow member Matsumoto Jun joined them on the 3rd as well and how Aiba and Matsumoto were hugging with each other while crying emotionally. Aiba explained, "We've never had that deep of a conversation in the past 15 years." Listening to that, the audience members couldn't hide their surprise.

Ikuta Toma talks about Aiba Masaki & Matsumoto Jun

On the 17th in Yokohama city, Ikuta Toma attended a private viewing stage greetings for the movie “MIRACLE Debikuro-kun to no koi no mahou.” [“MIRACLE: Devikuro’s love and magic”]. He was received with great cheers by fans.

Ikuta and Arashi’s Aiba Masaki have been meeting with just the two of them often lately. Aiba revealed the episode “On Novermber 3rd, the day Arashi CD debuted, Ikuta brought out sake and stated “Congratulations” the moment it became that day. Lately, we are often together on anniversaries.” After this Ikuta joked, “I was thinking that maybe we should just date…” and Aiba replied “If you’re satisfied with me.” And brought about laughter.

Ikuta reminisced about that time, “He was really pleased. He surprisingly has a weak spot for those.” And revealed Aiba’s weak spot for surprises. Aiba then stated “That day was really enjoyable. MatsuJun (Matsumoto Jun) also came. In 15 years, we have never spoken so deeply about things with one another.” And revealed that they drank together with Matsumoto. Then Ikuta stated “I left the two of them alone then I saw them embracing one another crying. I felt that I saw something I should not have seen,” and laughed.

At the event, Eikura Nana and Han Hyojyu also went on stage for to experience “Sensitivity for Romance Check.” Ikuta confessed, “I like women who are their own person.” For this movie he stated, “Aiba is very cute, Eikura is heart wrenchingly cute, and Hyohyu is really pretty. I try to show off to the extent of being out of place. I hope you enjoy the difference.” And put himself down.

This movie used Nakamura Kou’s love story “Debikuro-kun no koi to mahou” which used Yamashita Tatsurou’s famous song “Christmas Eve” as a motif. On a holy night, four people that have secret loves have miracles happen by Debikuro-kun. It will begin airing on the 22nd.
