In all fairness, Hikki isn't the most attractive person in the world at times. There's a saying that people gravitate to equals in looks/power. I think it's nice that she's happy - that's all that is important in this situation. It's not important what Japanese people think. Haha.

I'm happy that most everyone has positive reactions to Hikki being engaged. Thanks for the link; it has a better photo of the guy, he's kind of geeky/nerdy handsome. I've never though of what kind of guy would look best for/with Hikki, but they look like an adorable couple.
