DAIGO's dad diagnosed with colon cancer

This morning on TBS's Vivid , DAIGO announced that his dad had been diagnosed with colon cancer .

DAIGO also said that his dad has been going for once a month medical check up in order to keep his condition under control as doctors were able to detect DAIGO's dad's illness at a relatively early stage .

In addition , DAIGO hopes his dad will be able to make a full recovery in order to see the 2020 Tokyo Olympics games .

Tokyohive - DAIGO reveals his father had been battling cancer

On October 20, DAIGO appeared on his regular TBS programme 'Jouhou Live Vivit' and revealed that his father had been battling colon cancer.

The programme featured a special on celebrities who are battling against cancer. DAIGO revealed, "Some time ago, my father had stage 3 colon cancer." He explained that his father is now recovering, "He had it surgically removed, and now he is at ease."

Since then, DAIGO's father has been receiving medical examinations once a month. "They found a small lump in another organ, and that was cancer too," he shared, "But thanks to the monthly medical exam, they were able to find it at a very early stage." DAIGO continued, "He says that he will live to see the Tokyo Olympics." {that will take place in 2020}

静かな街にかすかに響く虫の歌は
優しいセレナーデのよう。
街頭に照らされた路地の木々も
少しづつ衣替えを始めていて
緑の中に茶色く色付いた葉は

Ahaha yeah DAIGO wore the same outfit & gloves for all 3 occasions when he went to promote Evangelion related stuff with actress Kato Natsuki

DAIGO's longtime stylist mizzy is the 1 that styled him which's hardly a surprise given that DAIGO is mizzy's 1st client & in addition , mizzy has styled BREAKERZ from the very beginning of their career until now
