H-Logic will always be one of my favorite k-pop albums for sure. I never gave a damn of the plagiarism scandal around it and I still don't. It wasn't her fault that she chose them on her album.

And I'm also happy for her comeback this fall! It's been a while and I need some kick ass Hyori music now in my life too~

Lee Hyori’s comeback could be postponed to next year
The release date of the Sexy Queen Lee Hyori‘s new solo album may once again be postponed.

Originally, Hyori had planned on releasing a new album earlier this summer to make her comeback as a recording artist. However, the album release was pushed back to this fall, and now it looks as though it will be difficult for her to release anything new this year.

An insider from Hyori’s agency B2M Entertainment remarked, “We are still working on releasing a new album, however, we have not finished gathering all the songs for the album and have still been unable to begin recording. At this rate, it may become difficult to release anything at all this year.”

Knowing Lee Hyori’s perfectionist personality, the insider may be right. “We have yet to receive a song that [Hyori] likes,” the insider continued. “Hyori seeks perfection in everything she does, so she will not rush herself trying to release a new album in a hurry. Her being busy filming her new show ‘Golden 12‘ is another reason why the album got pushed back.”

But a new release isn’t completely out of the question. It’s possible for them to begin recording the minute they find a song they feel is ‘daebak‘.

“In the end, Hyori will be making all of the final decisions,” the insider added.

Lee Hyori has temporarily stepped away from the music scene after her album ‘H Logic‘ release back in April of 2010 was swept up in a plagiarism scandal, and her temporary break had undoubtedly had affected the activities of other female solo artists.

Representatives from the music industry are highly anticipating Lee Hyori’s comeback, as the market is currently being dominated by idol groups. A comeback by a sexy female solo artist such as Lee Hyori to the current music scene will not only help other female artists, it can be a chance for other genres of music to finally find some room to make a break through.

Lee Hyori getting ready to film Music Video for her comeback in May!

It’s been reported that Lee Hyori will soon be filming her music video for her comeback in May!

It’s her first comeback in 3 years since she last released “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” back in April 2010. Her label B2M Entertainment stated to Star News, “Lee Hyori will release her album in May. She’s engrossed in her new album, and she’s working really hard. Lee Hyori will be filming her music video next week. She’s going to film at least 2 music videos for the songs in this album.”

The representative also added, “There’s no final confirmation on the title song, but right now there is a high possibility that it will be a dance song. Lee Hyori’s also thinking of holding a concert after the release of her album.”

If she does have a concert, it’ll be her first since 2008.

Lee Hyori decides on a title song for her comeback + to reveal 3-4 music videos

Lee Hyori has been hinting at her return for quite some time now, but she’s almost ready now as she’s finally picked her title track!

Fans have been waiting for over 3 years for her musical comeback, and she’ll finally be releasing her 5th album mid-May! She’d been thinking about her title song for a while, but she’s made the final decision and will be following up with her music video, stage outfit, the concept, and choreography.

She’s already completed her her album photoshoot with Hong Jang Hyun, and she’ll be done with the music video for the title song by mid-April. Director Cha Eun Taek will be taking care of her music video as always, and she’s also planning to take on several different concepts by releasing additional music videos for the other songs in her album for a total of 3-4.

So which type of concept are you looking forward to the most from Hyori?

A sample of Lee Hyori's new song revealed through Vogue's music film



As promised, Lee Hyori has revealed a sample of one of her new songs through the music film associated with her ‘Vogue‘ magazine photoshoot!

The sexy diva went back in time as a showgirl with her vintage flapper gowns against the backdrop of a circus set for the magazine pictorial (which you can check out here), and now through the music film that goes along with the shoot, we are treated to a portion of one of her upcoming songs!

It’s not clear whether the “Show Girl” written as the title of the video is simply referring to the pictorial concept, or the title of the diva’s new song as well.
