Actually it's Kumi who covered NOSHEEN.
NOSHEEN posted about it on her Facebook when it was released:

It's not a cover, Kumi bought the copyright of the demo (this song wasn't released, was just a demo made by Nosheen).

And yes, Nosheen is the songwriter of Physical thing, like Hiro is for TABOO or TK for most of Ayu's Love songs album. Kuu is the artist, it belongs to her and Avex.
