I saw Rihanna live and in real she sounds so much better.

She really has a great voice live very powerful even while dancing!

Rihanna either tries too hard or not at all.

I'll never go to her concert not because she sounds like a horse but because I don't like how she seems bored and out of it in her shows. I'm paying you money, show some damn enthusiasm.

What Katy lacks in talent she makes up for in enthusiasm.

I don't really like Rihanna's voice live at all. It's in the studio where they work magic and make her sound good. Granted, I liked her back in the day (and today marginally), but these days.... There are much better pop stars.
