Kamenashi Kazuya Attends “Yokai Ningen Bem” Completion Conference



The completion announcement for the movie “Yokai Ningen Bem” was held yesterday at Tokyo International Forum in Marunouchi. Attending the event is KAT-TUN‘s Kamenashi Kazuya with the rest of the cast.

“Yokai Ningen Bem” is a film adaptation of NTV’s hit drama last year that garnered an averaged of 15.6% audience share. Kamenashi greeted the audience with confidence, “By the drama’s cinematization, I think that depth of the work has increased,” Kamenashi commented. Playing the role of a humanoid monster, Kamenashi encouraged the audience “to watch the movie without blinking as much as possible”. Completing the “humanoid monster” trio is child star Suzuki Fuku and actress Anne who revealed that they spend their free time by giving Fuku a drill on arithmetic and Kanji.

When the cast were asked what they want to transform into, Fuku said that he wanted to become a adult, “so I can shoot until late at night”. On the other hand, fellow co-star Kazuki Kitamura would rather become a child, “so I can go home by 8:00PM,” he said that earned laughter from the audience.

Joining the rest of the cast is Arisa Mizuki, whose special make-up effects would take 3 hours to transform into her Sayuri Ueno role, “I think that the special make-up is better than my real face,” she joked.

Directed by Shunsuke Kariyama, “Yokai Ningen Bem” will hit the theaters on Dec 15th.

[Oricon Ranking] KAT-TUN’s DVD “KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2012 CHAIN TOKYO DOME″ tops Weekly Charts

Released on November 21st, KAT-TUN′s live DVD “KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2012 CHAIN TOKYO DOME” has sold 70,000 copies on its first week, topping 12/3 weekly sales chart.

This is the 8th DVD release from KAT-TUN to lead overall rankings. Tied for the third place alongside B’z and Mr.Children. Among the music DVD department, they’ve been leading charts since their 1st DVD “お客様は神サマーConcert 55万人愛のリクエストに応えて!!” (February 2003), making a total of 9 consecutive top DVDs so far.

This work was built around the concept of “CHAIN=bond-connection”, in order to reunite with fans in a National tour for the first time in about a year and 8 months. Recorded in the final performance of “KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2012 CHAIN” in Tokyo Dome. First press edition comes with a 40 page live photobook and also a special design of package.

New CM features new song STEPS TO LOVE

KAT-TUN‘s new CM for Suzuki Solio has began airing.

The new CM titled “SNOW DOME” featured snow fall on Christmas night that is filled with fantasy. The new CM also featured KAT-TUN’s new song “STEPS TO LOVE” as the commercial’s song.

No release date has been announced but online sites like Amazon have started accepting reservations.

[RUMOUR] Fujigaya Taisuke Warns to Avoid Tanaka Koki?

Apparently, J&A has ordered someone to watch-over Kis-My-Ft2‘s Taisuke Fujigaya regarding his close relationship with KAT-TUN‘s Koki Tanaka…

As reported,Due to SMAP’s barter appearance with Kis-My-Ft2, the group is getting more and more exposure. In lieu to their public image, Fujigaya is given a stern warning regarding one of his senpais…

“Fujigaya is known to admire Tanaka, who is known to be the number 1 playboy in Johnny’s. Fujigaya even kept the doodle made by Tanaka when he was drunk, and put it on his room’s wall. Speaking of Tanaka, Risa Kouda, the AV actress that Tanaka was rumoured to be dating was recently arrested for stimulants.

Since Fujigaya is also known to be a ladies-man, Johnny’s will supervise Fujigaya carefully so he won’t be more involved with Tanaka as to not affect Kisumai’s good sales”. (According to one weekly reporter)
