Be my last is a very sad song indeed. It's also one of my most favorite songs from Hikki .

Hikari at UU'06 was so amazing, it was really emotional yet happy. The ending of the song ("terebi keshite, watashi no koto dake wo miteiteyo") gets me every time!

^Yea...me too. lol It's just like so sad in a cheerful way because the concert is through. lol I actually felt as tho I was there at the concert when I watched UU06. I was singing along with Hikki and the crowd was really alive. People say that her concerts are boring or wuteva because she doesn't do nothin' but stand and sing....but it's so much more to her just standing and singing IMO. Hikki's song are so singable that ur sorta put under a spell to sing along with her. lol When I saw UU, I forgot that she wasn't doing a lot because of the lightening effects on the scree. Kiriya! Oh, man I can't wait until the concert is dled on here. I think I wanted paying attention to my folks until after I watch it.

^Seriously, people who have huge elaborate costumes and dancing and stage shows NEED to do that because the music can't speak for itself. REAL artists just let the people be amazed by the voice, the words and the music.

Yeah I definitely agree with ya. Be My Last is definitely not better than her entire discography. IMO of course, it's one of her weakest singles EVER and pretty much THE weak song on Ultra Blue. Rest of the album = gold. Even Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro is something I can listen to every not and then but Be My Last...nope.

I dunno I think BML is one of my favorite songs... it's what got me into her, in the first place,but everyone has their own opinion. Like for me I think FD is pretty boring,it's that makes me wanna fall asleep,but I love the remixes for FD

Ummm, I guess I just don't like the sound of the song. I like the lyrics but there's just something off-putting about the song. I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me.
I don't particularly like the chorus and the verses are just blah. I agree with ayuayu798, maybe the melody is just too plain for me.
I do like the "ahh" right before the chorus though

@ Amai, well I know what you mean lol. But I just think melody of the song is beautiful. I also feel it's very mature sounding if that makes sense . I guess it's kind of like Passion, everyone says it's a great song, but it's kind of 'eh' to me.

yeah, I really like Passion and it was a great finish for the album. That album really has some Hikki gems so I guess there's something for everyone

Back to the FD PV+song, that song brought me so very close to tears, especially because of the fact that it was aimed towards a true Hikki fan.
It's such a beautiful song and Kiriya did a wonderful job with the PV, he really brought out the emotion. Deep River was also a very sad song, which brought me close to tears as well.
