sorry to double post but it's Everything news related

1st day sales of Everything - 135,053

comparison between their past few singles :

Ashita no Kioku/Crazy Moon ~kimi wa muteki~ = 230,022
Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei = 214,618
Beautiful days = 145,341
truth/Kaze no Mukou e = 208,647
One Love = 130,567
Step and Go = 107,689

frankly I'm not surprised at the somewhat 'lower' sales that Everything has gotten as compared to their previous 2 singles which're double A-sides

it's still good imo & hopefully it can lodge about 300K in total for the 1st week

I thought it was going to be like 200k, seeing how they had the "record" breaking NINKI. But it is unreliable. I hope they pass 300k too. So much for my thinking they would have got #'s 1, 2 and 3 for the yearly chart. Maybe it's still possible, if the sales rise instead of decrease.

my younger sister & I had doubts that Everything can cleared 200K in the 1st week , Mishelle

if it's Everything / season , most probably since their past 2 singles were double A-sides & they managed to accomplish it with no problems whatsoever

I don't think Everything can sell as well as their previous singles (probably about 300-400K in the long run just like what happened to Beautiful days) especially since All the BEST ! will be out next month

the fangirls all know it because they're all broke out & poor like me xD

I suppose if it was a double A-side it would have sold like the previous two singles. I hope it at least outsells Beautiful days first week sales. How much did it sell in the first week BTW?

Ah, yes the poor fan girls. I do feel bad for them and you guys. Especially knowing they're releasing the best album next month. Maybe everyone is saving up their money in order to buy the best.

if you look back at the singles that they have released since last year til now , only Step and Go didn't had any form of major tie in for a drama/anime

at least this time round for Everything c/w season , both were used to promote au/KDDI's handphones so I don't know if you can count that as a tie in , I suppose yes ?

Well it's still a tie-in but I think that drama tie-ins help a single sell much more than a CM song.

I'm sure Everything will do well. Although NINKI interest is unreliable, that still shows there's a big interest in people buying. These people will probably buy on another day or something. Most don't rush out to buy it on the first day unless they are die hard fans. And the first day sales are still higher than last year's One Love which did end up being the no.2 single of the year last year. So I wouldn't say to count this single out just yet.

Plus these sales aren't low. Most people would kill to sell this much in a week.

why do you have to worry about dbsk? worry about arashi.. that kind of stuff makes it hard for me to come here. i am a new fan to arashi's music and i would like to talk about them but i don't even feel like posting here because every few pages there's random dbsk/toho mention.

Everyone- well some people worry about TVXQ due to the fact that they seem to be like the only other group that can maybe match the popular JE groups in sales.

Though I do have to say TVXQ has a little more ways to go before they start selling like a JE group. And by sell I mean 200k or 300k in the first week.
