And that performance was atrocious. Has there ever been a good NEVER EVER performance? There's that weird bird-noise performance that replicated the 1 LOVE cages, and the overdramatic HLS mess. I'm all here for NEVER EVER being sung with just Ayu and Yo-chan on stage.

IMHO NEVER EVER perfomance was pretty cool at Dome Tour 2001. And I personally really enjoyed NEVER EVER + sending mail at CDL11-12 definitely coz' of its overdrama

I've never actually seen the CDL 2012 performance, but I hope if it doesn't get scrapped before the end that it is reminiscent of the PoM one that never made it onto the final setlist

I just hope she doesn't replace the good songs for the final performance. Connected is one of my favorite songs by her and I've waited a long time to see her perform it again, and she replaced alterna with Last angel at RNRC 7 days final, so I'll cry if at the end she switches stuff out I like. Could you imagine if she took out terminal and connected and instead performed surreal and evolution? *heart attack*

I'm not saying this will happen, but this concert so far seems too good to be true.

PoM NEVER EVER was a hot mess. Her vocals I loved, but she turned into a gibbering, drooling mess on stage. And I get being really into performances and being moved by emotions and all, but... damn. And I don't even know if I believe all that... raw... snotty... "emotion". Seemed a little put on.

I love NEVER EVER performances from DOME TOUR 2001 and CDL 06-07. I really like the A MUSEUM performance as well, it was very simple and worked well with that song.
(btw, 1 LOVE was the one that replicated the NEVER EVER cages from 2002 and 06-07, not the opposite).

I don't know why so many people complain about NEVER EVER performances, I usually like them...

@pimenta: A MUSEUM in 2002 had cages in NEVER EVER? I always thought 1 LOVE was the first one to do that... it seems more thematic lol.

@happiholic: Where did you see NEVER EVER from PoM? I just have an audio recording, I thought it got ditched from the set list.

@marty: Pretty sure we're going to get some compilation of cut performances (Return Road, SAKURA, alterna, monochrome, etc.) from her Arena Tours for her 20th Anniversary or whatever. That's the only logical reason I can think of for her to cut such elaborate performances 2 days before the DVD recording. Especially cutting SAKURA makes -no- sense. They had a whole dress made for it, falling petals, etc. then right before the last concert she ditches all of that and goes on the swing for evolution. Has to be something about that... :9

Nope, ARENA TOUR 2002 had cages in NEVER EVER, the A MUSEUM (2003) performance didn't. Then CDL 06-07 also had cages for NEVER EVER (pretty much reviving the AT'02 performance). After that she started using the cages for 1 LOVE in ASIA TOUR 2007 and later concerts...

Not going to say anything about her outfits to avoid some serious arguments, but I like the setlist quite a lot. Nice to see Connected performed for the first time in 12-13 years. I really think that CDL01-02 performance was epic so I'm curious to see what this one'll like. I'm a bit amazed that evolution, SURREAL, independent, Boys & Girls and Humming 7/4 are not on the list though, but that is a nice change too.

love it too! I love most of the removed clips of PoM :/ especially BLUE BIRD and monochrome
