As far as I've been able to tell from browsing YAJ and stuff, the first press editions of some of hitomi's albums are picture discs.

Also, there is no back cover art because the picture that would be there is on the disc instead and you're meant to see it through the clear case and copyright and track info is on the obi. Regular editions have a plain disc, back cover art, and (sometimes) an opaque case.

^the love life and thermo plastic have no back covers and are picture disks. so does that mean i got first press of those? i bought them quite long after their release.

I think they should be, yes.

It's not completely out of the ordinary to get a first press item, especially depending on where you get it.

I got a first press edition of Ayu's "(miss)understood" album from YesAsia earlier this year and also the first press, digipak version of JASMINE's "NO MORE" single from CD Japan even though both places said both releases were out of stock.

Though, I think you're more likely to get lucky with YA than with CDJ since YA uses different suppliers.

^oh ok. cool. i was originally scratching my head wondering why there was no back covers on 2 albums. But yeah, i bought both of those a couple years after their original release.

Also, i updated my original posting of my collection with lists of items in each picture.

I'm not 100% sure if that's really the case, though, since there's nothing on the obi to indicate the differences, so don't quote me on it; all I'm completely sure of is that there are two editions for a lot of her albums.

So, I dunno, maybe Avex released the "regular press" because they're less expensive to produce than picture discs?

^It'd probably come to about same amount since the first press doesn't have a backing. however, i find the lack of a backing annoying cause if u wanna check what song etc, u have to open it up and go into the slip book thing inside. Actually, for both huma rhythm and love life, they have no backing but when u take the cover slip thing out it folds open where one side is the song's lyrics and the other side is a poster of the cover.

Still, I've also got some other CDs which don't list the tracks or songs on the back anyways, which is also annoying.

OMG yes my 3rd box of BREAKERZ's frontman DAIGO trading cards has FINALLY came , after waiting a month + in agony



so I guess this means I might be getting the BREAKERZ GRAND FINALE pamphlet really soon , I hope

I will be going to the head office of the post office later today in the late afternoon/early night to collect 2 HUGE parcels which = to even more trading cards of DAIGO among other things 8D xD

DAIGO 2009 - 2010 calendar + poster





I was shocked when I saw these items in person cos on the website , they look small but they're BIG upclose D:

there goes my chances to scan this past calendar + poster of him :___; but wow my brain ....

last year's calendar of his's frankly better than this year imo but it's still DAIGO at the end of the day 8D & I'm going to think of where am I going to hang that awesome poster of him

there's no pockets & etc included , it's just the binder & that's it >_< but at least DAIGO looks great in the cover & I have 2 boxes to store all the cards I have of him too so all's not lost I guess

now excuse me I'm going back to scan the cards of him , let even more fialing begin

^you should try Shota Shimizu out. he's an R&B/soul artist. he's soo talented.

and DAIGO is the frontman of the band BREAKERZ. i've only heard their FIGHTERZ album, but i loved it.
