Last night via AKIHIDE's personal site akihide.com , Excite , WHAT'S IN? & vif-music , all 4 websites have released the covers & promo picture for AKIHIDE's 2nd solo album Lapis Lazuli , that will be out on 30th Oct !
Covers CD Regular  CD Limited  Lapis Lazuli promo pic  My oh my , those are some seriously hot if not great pictures/covers being used of AKIHIDE <3 And I wasn't expecting so much because I honestly thought AKIHIDE will not appeared on the covers of Lapis Lazuli since it's a guitar instrumental album , unlike Amber but I was so seriously mistaken a great deal . Lapis Lazuli (the song) & Home are 2 songs found as tracks #2 & #7 respectively in AKIHIDE's 2nd solo album Lapis Lazuli & last night , preview snippets of both songs from the album have been uploaded on akihide.com .
http://akihide.com/pc/news/news_011.html The preview snippets for both Lapis Lazuli (the song) & Home sound really good + since Lapis Lazuli (the album) is strictly a guitar instrumental album , I wouldn't mind if this release will be a really nice chilled out record , something that's perfect for me to listen to when I wind down after a long day at work  So far based on both preview snippets , Lapis Lazuli (the song) & Home are really promising , sound wise .

Just like for AKIHIDE's debut solo Amber , a special sub website was launched last night within AKIHIDE's personal site akihide.com , in line with the impending release of 2nd album Lapis Lazuli that will be out on 30th Oct :
 Upon clicking the above link , it shows an adorable if not super cute personalised drawing web page that AKIHIDE personally did (that floating cloud like blob on the special sub website itself is quite amusing xD) , with 11 supposedly 'surprises' that will be revealed pre release (10 of them) & post release (1 of them on the same release date as the album) of Lapis Lazuli . For now , 2 of the 'surprises' been revealed last night  The 1st 2 includes : - Lapis Lazuli covers + promo picture released - Preview snippets of Lapis Lazuli (the song) + Home

Lapis Lazuli could be a video game theme song <3 And Home reminds me of those drama ost songs, really soothing as YuriChan said.

Me & my friend never expected AKIHIDE to include his face on the covers of Lapis Lazuli with it being a guitar instrumental album this time round so it was a completely pleasant surprise when the covers + promo pic were released on Fri
 I think those covers + promo pic are even better than Amber & I'm excited to see even more pictures of AKIHIDE in Lapis Lazuli mode Better yet , since the limited edition will have a 48 page booklet , please pretty please AKIHIDE *_*

AKIHIDE's 2nd solo tour AKIHIDE Premium Night Show “Lapis Lazuli” will start on 15th Nov at Osaka's Music Club JANUS with the last/4th concert date that will be held on 23rd Nov at Tokyo's STB139 .

Have to admit this's entirely thanks to my friend who managed to discover a 'secret' video clip of AKIHIDE that's found within the special sub website of Lapis Lazuli & if not for her , I would have never known about this
So where's this 'secret' video clip that's within the website ? Just click on the moon on the website which will bring you to this :  Which's a 50 seconds video clip of AKIHIDE playing guitar while sitting down in front of a seaboard overlooking him , how cool's this ? I don't know what song AKIHIDE played in the clip but it should be a longer version of Lapis Lazuli (the song) but ah who knew AKIHIDE is so sly in this aspect ? xD It's quite nice for him to pay attention to so many fine nitty gritty details on his personal site (likewise for him including a secret link on his own site that brings the user to his old NEVER LAND band website as well) & this's no exception

The DAI☆GO!GO DVD was released last Friday on 20th Sept & here're some amusing pictures of the DVD itself x)
  Ahahaha hilarious , even the 2 DVDs are pictured labelled with (who else) DAIGO's faces ~_~ Somehow I prefer the 2nd DVD over the 1st DVD a bit more . DAIGO looked so unusually stiff in the 1st DVD which I couldn't help but laugh xD

A selected handful of DAIGO MOBILE members will be recruited to star as extras in an upcoming new DAIGO PV in which the shooting of the PV is scheduled to take place somewhere in Tokyo next week on 3rd Oct (Thu) :
 Ah this's so exciting , it kind of reminds me of what the guys did for CLIMBER x CLIMBER (as they recruited team brz members to star in the PV) & likewise for some team brz members in doing backup vocals for GO's Smile 100% too Looks like it's safe to say that there will be even more future great solo material coming from DAIGO in due time yay can't wait ! http://daigo.mobi/posts/view/37998?aid=245

In this special sub website , 11 supposedly 'surprises' will be revealed pre release (10 of them) & post release (1 of them) of Lapis Lazuli . CD + DVD B of DAIGO's Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH single out of print on CDJapan
Job well done DAIGO ! Via CDJapan  http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=ZACL-6028 I'm definitely surprised that the CD + DVD B edition of DAIGO's Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH single is out of print on CDJapan . And it seems that this edition has been selling better than the CD + DVD A edition . On why this's so , I'm not sure but maybe because Mugen ∞REBIRTH has a strong promo tie in it had with Cardfight !! Vanguard . Hence this has probably helped sales in this aspect . Let alone , there's a Cardfight!! Vanguard PR card that comes with the CD + DVD B edition too . That said , it's still good for DAIGO , at least he's now in a better place sales wise unlike the time when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST so I couldn't argue more on this
