Ayu im so moved by this lyrics

it shows how she examines her life and proof that she has became mature,as DLB talking more about her career, but crossroad talking both her career and her actions in her life. still remember in the CNN 2006 interview, she said that she dont want to become and adult somehow.

and of course, this lyrics thaught me a lot,i myslef got so many crossroads in my life,

i didnt like the chaku uta preview, but after listening to the a nation version,it has grown on me

who is "that person" that she talked about btw?

Absolutely lovely lyrics..... It really is beautiful and touching. And asking questions like that.
I think ill have to read these over many times and hear the full song to truly understand what she's talking about

I'd like to point out that she still is not an adult.
She doesn't say in the lyrics that she has become an adult,
Only that she is in the transition of becoming one.
But I think this is really important to remember, because she has always said that she didn't know what an adult was, and that you just can't call someone an adult simply because they aged (Heartplace.)

I firmly believe that this is about herself only.
At first the lyrics were very hard to interpret, because I thought she was singing to someone else.
But I think this song is like Rainbow, where she sang for herself, to herself, and written by herself, like a healing process.
It makes more sense if you think like that.

She has gone through so much since 2007, and for sure she has felt times where she went through complete darkness, and a time when she was presented with a crossroad, to give up, or not give up, when she became half-deaf, or when Nagase relationship ended, or even when A Complete came out, she had the chance to end her career on a high note, but instead she went on. I remember the retirement rumours around the time of A Complete, or even recently.

Anyways, that's my thoughts about the song, it's really the closing of a chapter in her life, and beginning of something new. She said Rock'N'Roll Circus would be a return to her roots, and now with crossroad, it's a new chapter, maybe not musically, but lyrically, or even lifestyle wise. She is not drinking much anymore, and she is doing everything properly to control and take care of her voice. It may take more time, but she will restore her voice to what it was.

Maybe that's what it means to be an adult from her perspective.

I think I'm equally excited for both...maybe more for crossroad, since SDW IS just a cover.

completly agree with you!!

When in the lyrichs she says:

Quote:
I wonder if that person
Who, so they wouldn't get hurt,
Protected them self by pretending to be strong,
Came to laugh well?
she is talking about herself. She stated in her lyrics lots of times that she "pretended to be strong". Later in the lyrics she says:

Quote:
Something that is continuously Changing,
Something that came to be changed,
And something that cannot change,
Am I able to be laughing well?
Is saying the same but asking to herself. For what I can understand she is that person who, in order to no get hurt, protected herself by pretending to be stong.

Ayu's tweeted a picture of the location of where she is in LA right now. I saw helicopters, people and i think cameras. I think she's shooting the PV. However, it sorta looks like a desert, but with more plant life.
