That's great... And that's the night before the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics happen - which would be in the mid-morning hours of Saturday, as we have to account the time zone between Japan and Vancouver, BC, Canada (seven hours apart) and crossing the International Date Line...

(Yeah - watch the Music Station special on Friday night in Japan, then sleep, then watch the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics...)

News rumor says that Ohno satoshi of ARASHI will star a new drama on april in NTV with a saturday timeslot, 9pm. together with Kawashima umika-san (15). other arashi members that had a lead role in NTV are jun matsumoto (26) of kindaichi~ (2001), gokusen (2002) and sakurai sho (28) of yoiko no mikata (2003), the quiz show (2009). if this will be confirmed, Ohno-san will be the third memeber of arashi to have a lead role in NTV.

i love ohno, but he's not one of my "main" actors of arashi. jun, nino, and even sho are my favorite actors, lol. i prefer aiba with variety stuff (unless he ever got a comedy drama, then i'd be fine with that) but as much as i loved maou, i just love the other guys acting more than ohno, haha. but i'll be happy if this gets officially confirmed soon.

^ Really? When I saw Maou I thought that he was actually having the best series acting wise of any Arashi member. Certainly better than Aiba, Sho, and even Jun. All of them are really good actors though. However in terms of moving me, Ohno's acting in Maou moved me the most of any of their television dramas, including Ninomiya's.

for me, it's not that i don't like ohno as an actor personally or anything, because he does act good! i enjoyed maou so much (despite all the killing in the finale ). but in general, i also agree that they all are such good actors (in their own way). the real reason as to why i prefer jun and nino would probably be because of their appeal (physical appearance), along with their acting. i personally find jun and nino really good looking (jun especially, but i won't go there now, lol), so that adds on to their acting (because they really do have the strongest acting skills, at least to me) so i enjoy seeing them in anything. they both really move me. maybe i like them for such shallow reasons such as appearance and stuff, but i can't help it.

i dunno if ohno moved me in maou, but i really got into his acting while watching it. like i was actually scared and intrigued whenever i'd see him in a scene. jun moved me SO much towards the end of Smile (i cried the hardest i ever did while watching ANYTHING, but maybe it's cause i'm biased towards him the most, i dunno ), and nino was brilliant at the end of ryusei no kizuna (he also moved me in yamada taro, but in a different way because it was just a cute drama ).

Dumbest decision in years. Stopping AnS that is. I'm curios about the new show, but I also looked forward to Himitsu no Arashi-chan and Golden Rush Arashi when they started - we all know where that ended. I have the urge to infiltrate the Johnny's marketing/managing department and actually force them to plan things that make sense.

to me , Himitsu no Arashi-chan is the one that should be given the go-ahead to cease

I like the show initally when it started but after they kept on changing/revamping , I really feel that the show has lost its soul & charm

now it's just a typical fluff show which's pretty much a sellout one

so sad

Can't say that I'll miss it since I only watched that one episode with Yuna Ito. But it does look like an enjoyable show.

i was watching it since summer 2008 (when my arashi fandom started) i'll miss it so much, but after watching it for so long, i actually wanted a new show for a change. so it's kinda bittersweet for me.
