How is that childish? Just because their musical direction is different doesn't mean we shouldn't compare how much we like one artist's music to another's. Furthermore, I can't even see how it would be childish to compare anything else about two different artists. Apples and oranges aren't the same exact thing but it's not childish to compare those, is it?

I'll stay tuned all night long (while watching the Vancouver's figure skating final by tv) until know something about the announce of her new album, I'd be happy if avex just let us know release date and title, no more than that

well, you sounded like one of those who say "kodas music is **** bla" or other artist haters who do that on the net (not only with koda) and that you put ayus Music above any other artist out there. There are millions of songs out there which I don´t like but which are obviously better produced than some NEXT LEVEL songs. Comparing Music quality is different from comparing images.

Yeah, you did get me wrong. ^^; I do like Koda Kumi's music, but Ayu is my favorite singer, so obviously her music is going to go above anyone else for me. That's why I used Koda Kumi as an example.

Hmm well see and namie is my fav singer, but I would say many other artist have better songs and albums than some of hers. I put all artist i listen to on one level, jsut because tehy are different artist and I like to listen to them as much as I like to listen to Namie.

^^ Sorry but I don't even understand where you're going with this anymore? I didn't say Ayu had the best music in the world or that no one had anything better than her. All I said was that in general I like her music most, hence why she is my favorite singer. I also have a favorite band that makes music I love just as much as Ayu's music. And of course there are certain songs from other artists that I like more than certain songs by Ayu. I didn't mean that all of Ayu's songs are automatically better than anyone else's, or that no one was capable of making anything as good as Ayu...

I think fans in Japan are also kind of getting impatient. It's pretty depressing that we don't even have a preorder page for it, haha.

In TA even though we can send messages it doesn't work like a forum, so we don't know what each member asks, or what the majority asks unless ayu says something like "ooh, a lot of people asked for the album announcement"

I think that with the last (25th) TA message everyone (including me) send her an encouraging message ^^ instead of asking for the album...

^yeah? I was wondering it some days ago... when someone said this may be an avex strategy to make us more excited for the album... but while I know that here yeah, we are crazy just to know a damn date, in japan I don't know what they think... if they are also expecting it like us...

I'm so impatient about this.. well, about any more news about the new album.
When NEXT LEVEL came out, I thought how I won't be able to wait for the other album.. but actually, time passed by so quickly.

Either way one of the things I'm most curious about is what the covers for it will look like :3

^yeah... I wanted to send her sth like that 2 days ago.. but after her message i decided not to do so... XDDD even though it's not ayu's work to update the website... it's just... a decision "let's announce it"...

wel... they should have an schedule for this things so...

Guys, we'll get it soon. Any number of things could be behind the delay…

Photoshoots haven’t gone to plan
Printing errors on the album/covers
Recording error so a track needs extra work
Ayu and Avex fighting over the songs to be included or the order
Avex putting it off to save money
Avex putting it off while the press addresses Ayu’s voice/avoiding negative publicity
Seeking more sponsorships for songs before the release
Etc.

We don’t work in Avex and it seems kinda redundant to constantly hazard guesses as to what their reasoning is behind the delay, or continually post about how you’re waiting for info and will JUST DIE if you don’t get it in the next 10 seconds. We’re all excited but I don’t see what arguing with each other is going to achieve apart from filling up 3 threads or more before we get any solid info. The fact is that nobody here will be 100% right so why not live and let live? Everyone’s entitled to an opinion and after the info comes out nobody will remember if you’re right or wrong…all the arguing does is upset people in the short term…hardly making AHS “friendly”.

Can we have a rule for the 3rd thread where you’re allowed to put up your thoughts on the album, but no debates or endless “when R we gonna get info? I’m dying here!!!1” posts? The “I know more about Ayu than you” vibes make me not want to come to this thread, which sucks as I do like to see others ideas.

Anyway, I personally like the idea of the new album coming out mid-year when the tour is in full swing and have this tour give more attention to her older rock-themed songs. I would be so happy if she did special versions of songs like RAINBOW or Connected like they were rock songs...a "rock" version of RAINBOW could be to die for
