MUSEKININ HERO GOT 348,000 FIRST WEEK SALES

AMAZING~! I'M SO PROUD.
they came from selling nothing to nearly 350k their first week!

holy cow, their indicator must've been HUGE. like, KAT-TUN huge. you have no idea how excited i am for Eito! it might possibly outsell NEWS' debut single, which is sitting around 395k. WOW.

& oh 1 more thing with regards to http://wiki.theppn.org/Sukiyanen%2C_...nka_/_Mugendai , what's the difference between Sukiyanen, Osaka. for both editions as it's stated Sukiyanen, Osaka. (Sankaku Kouen) for LE's & Sukiyanen, Osaka. (Tanaka-san) for RE's

because I bought the last RE copy from HMV that's why I want to know

^To my knowledge only the talking part is different. I don't know if anything else is different though. Someone else might be more helpful. Because I haven't really listened to both versions much. ^^;

Congrats to K8 for the great sales. ^^
On the other hand, wouldn't it be nice to see artists get those numbers without multiple versions, first-press bonuses etc.? I'm not critizing. But it could be a weird feeling for an artist.

I'm listening to the "Sankaku Kouen" version right now and the only difference I hear is the talking part, like I already wrote. "Tanaka-san" version is about someone called Tanaka-san, Shibutani plays him in the song (they should have asked Koki x3), and "Sankaku Kouen" seems to be about a park (park is "kouen" in Japanese).

yeah. it would be nice but, i'm noticing that only a few (mainstream) artists have only 1 press of a single nowadays. not only JE, but avex and other labels are getting into releasing multiple versions. whether it be with a DVD or first press ordeal. i think JE takes the cake with multiple versions though. xD

i often wonder what JE sales would look like w/o the extra material. i think they would be much lower for sure.

Yeah, especially since the single sales now aren't what they used to be around, say, 2000. Less people are buying physical singles, so labels release things with them that make them more attractive to buy.

LOL at Koki rapping in "Sukiyanen, Osaka". That would have been awesome! But rapping in Kansaiben, please. =3 Wonder what the lyrics would be like. xD

you got a point because the physical sales are really sucky & I guess to sell 1/2 a million physical copies of an album/single , it's the new million in 2008

It's so cute how they (whether it's the group itself, the management or whoever) include the "drunk divas" (forgot whose copyright that was, sorry xD) in one way or another. Same with the two feathers for Nishikido and Massu in the "pacific" booklet. ^^
