I think Namie would succeed in America
She might need to work on her English but her image EVERYONE would love People would think she's so beautiful, which she is @.@

Her image would probably work out well in America - I don't think she needs to undergo any "image makeovers."

She could wear those super-high boots of her, and then it wouldn't be as obvious.

I have it! I'll upload it for you, but only if you upload the Making of Hide & Seek, All For You, and Hello for me. Hehe. In all serious, I really would like them! Can you? Tbh, the "making of" isn't really much unless a longer version was aired which I doubt.

I have the Making of Hide&Seek and Hello, but I don't think it's the real one. But if you want I can still upload.
I don't think ALL FOR YOU has a making of.

of course i'll love to upload the original files to MF but i don't have them either
all i found from googling were the LQ .flv files from youtube, yahoo video, etc. here -> http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/...footage_people there's a ~40sec clip rgd "Making of StW" EDIT: she doesn't seem short cause she knows how to hang around with all the short ppl -LoL During her Genius200 Tour, she worked with a "normal" height dancer (can't rmb his name) which made her looked like a shortie

Honestly I don\'t think she\'d do well in America. The only one I think that has the potential to do well here is Utada, but even she kind of failed.
Even if Namie did try to debut in the US, I\'d support her. |

I mean, yeah she's popular in Japan and her music is WONDERFUL, but let's face it. With her pronounciation and whatnot, she just probably wouldn't do well. And being successful in America is different than being successful in Japan. America moves on from artist to artist quickly, so it would be so easy for her to fail.

How long is it?Otay I'll upload the BD thing but I gotta know what this clip you've uploaded is And aboot Namie's English, at least her pronunciation is better than most. I was so suprised the first time I heard it in 'WMWM'. And in live performances of Wishing On The Same Star she says the 'th' of 'thinking' PERFECTLY, unlike in the song.

was walking by the news-stand and saw 70s Namie on a cover! its an outdated Taiwanese magazine (JuL 08)
http://www.cittabella.com.tw/feature...p?gid=6&id=168 its cost RM8 ~ USD2.3, and has 1 pg on the 70s PV shoot, LoL some of my Namie CDs are cheapo OS versions, now even my 1st Namie mag is a cheapo OS mag anyway, Namie is not popular in Malaysia, so i just buy it for fun. maybe i'll cut a section in middle pages away and leave a space to place a Namie single

I think that with her looks and music style, she would fit in the US market, definitely. Plus, she worked with western producer in GENIUS 2000. Her music back then could have fit in the US market too.
