Will there be a new album? - Page 3

Its sad to see all the pessimism about an album that hasnt even come out yet...
First of all, if Ayu released all the amazing songs into singles, and left all of the (what other people would call) bad songs on the album, then no one would buy the album!
So im sure that her new album will have songs that will surpass her singles.
Example RnRC had Last Links, SLT, Microphone, Countdown that for me could have been singles because they were amazing, but the album needs to have something to sell itself... duh..
And i think the album will come out around January

im hoping for that ;p

Since I heard Last angel, I guess there could be an ayu trance 4 to be released this year.
Also, they could release a second mini-album instead of a normal-album.

If she releases a new album this year I must say that 2010 have been a mind-blowing year. First a great CDL (09-10), R'n'RC album,then a even more great AT10, a-nation'10, then three amazing singles and to an addition the 50th single, a (still possibly) new record, 7 days special tour and maybe a new album... That's ayumazing really.

I'm excited and hopefully, there are ZERO interludes. In RnRC, those didn't help at all. They're just terribad.

Aww. These are actually the most ayu-sounding songs she's done in awhile. After a few hundred songs, you really run out of new things to talk about.

If she needs some suggestions, I'll pitch these:

"I was...": about all the things Ayu once thought she may be but never was, and then how she's come to love herself today.

"DIRT(Y)": about how valuable sand is, and why its color resonates with the soul.

"LIGHT": could be about fluorescent light-bulbs and how important it is to go green.

"Don't look back -Episode II-" where ayu has to remind herself to not look back because she started looking back after she told herself to not look back.

A mini-album would seem a bit... well... smart AND bad. Smart in that it pushes a new product, but bad in that it could fail miserably without any really good new music to support it.

In my opinion, if you want non-interlude albums, hit up Utada.

Interludes are super important on Ayu albums! They're practically on every album. It's one of the things a lot of Ayu fans look forward to. A lot of fans fell in love with NL's interludes, so maybe RnRC was just a bad round? I believe she had some really poor ones on XX, Loveppears, and Secret and GUILTY (Is it just me or do "kaleidoscope", "Labyrinth" and "reBirth" all sound like the same consecutive interlude?)

On the next album, I would love to see a new "task--" interlude. Maybe she could put on one or two to make up for not having any on the last few albums? (I hope the task man isn't dead or something... I'll feel really bad if that's the reason why there are no more task-- interludes.)

I think the real task though is to keep the track-listing to more than 15 songs. We need another (miss)understood or MY STORY kind of album... one where there are a lot of songs and a lot of Ayu to absorb.

LABYRINTH and reBiRTH are basically just carbon copies of each other. I see no similarity to Kaleidoscope though.

And excuse me? Prologue from A Song for XX was beautiful, don't know what you talkin' about.

Based on all of the singles released, it definetely seems like a winter album would be fitting and Christmas would be a nice time to have a new album. But to my knowledge, she's never released two albums in the same year so I think it may come early next year. I would prefer the later because I don't think I'll have the money to buy it anytime soon, lol.

Ditto. Doubt it'll happen for this album though unless she remixes all of the ballads or pulls a NL and put them towards the end.

LOVEppears is technically longer than MY STORY, so you might as well just hope for a second LOVEppears.

Knowing Ayu, she hardly releases more than 2 singles a year, much less 4.

The next release would most likely be an album, since she herself had stated that she was currently doing her next album. In the event that L.A has a pv, it would be in her upcoming album, I guess.
