How do you feel about Ayu wearing fur?

I'm not going to comment or read anyone else's posts cause I don't want to get into arguments. So just gonna say my opinion.

I love Fur. I think it's beautiful and gorgeous, and I think that it's use in fashion is great. When you see it in lines, it draws many connotations and is good to use as art. People wore fur for a very long time, and fur is apart of many Peoples' histories.

I love all life on this earth. But sometimes I think people get confused with you know, the natural cycle of things dying, and murder.

I also KNOW that people have a very wrong idea about what exactly constitutes torture for an animal, and that groups like PETA highly build up these ideas and make it a lot graver than what it is.

BUT I would never ever deny the reality that there are people WHO DO torture animals, I am only saying that, many times, the groups target ALL people, instead of singling the evil ones out, and they never show the full picture.


ANYWAY, I don't think that killing some animals for their fur, or their meat, is a bad thing. Unless they are endangered. If they are overpopulated, hey, what a great situation for us.

Overkilling IS a serious problem though, and I think, that's where people and the industry start going overboard.


In any case, I don't think less of anyone who wears fur, and I dont think that it would hurt Ayu's career...except with the zealot people, obviously.

This is my post and these are my opinions, if you disagree, please don't reply, I dont want to get into it.

I'm not sure....I think wearing fur is fine if you are also eating the meat like Inuits, for example, with seals.

I DON'T agree with it at all if the animals are endangered or treated cruelly.
It's the same reason I eat organic free-range meats.

I'm not going to look down on someone (atleast I try not to) just because they wear real fur. It is kind of a dilemma though.

It doesn't make me think anyless of Ayu. After all, humans have been doing it since there were humans.

I did not sa ythat as an excuse for Ayu or other Japanese people. It's just that you have to understand the cultural differences (and the fact that you can't change them overnight, no matter how much you wish you could) when approaching these subjects. There is a lot less stigma over there and thus most people probably don't care about where their fur comes from.

I'm personally a little uncomfortable with the killing of animals. Although I'm not a vegetarian.

I think that as long as the animal doesn't go to waste I feel better about it. It seems such a waste if the whole animal isn't used so I don't see it as a big deal unless her clothing designers kill an animal and just take the fur.

As long as it's done sensibly and humanely it shouldn't be an issue.

I have no problem with anyone wearing real fur

imo, real fur has a quality that faux fur can't replace (usually...depending on what fur...like.... chinchilla ~? i think?)

...anything that needs an animal to be slaughtered, is cruel is some way big or small matter~ either way... how can killing an animal in anyway be humane? I mean, is killing any human any in anyway human?

Everybody who says that it's ok to wear fur should google how much pain those animals have to go through only because humans want to wear them. The problem about wearing fur is not that those animals are killed because of fur. It's about HOW they are reared and HOW they are killed. IT'S ABOUT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS. IT'S A TORTURE FOR THOSE ANIMALS!
Regardless of whether you love animals or not it should be in your interest that those animals haven't to go through unnecessary pain.

No. There is no such thing.

For an example, Sweden have one of the worlds most hardest rules in animal keeping. That includes meat, fur, private etc. But just a couple of months ago this secret animal organisation discovered that the fur industry does NOT follow the rules and the animals are eating of each others ears, screams, fight and kill each other like maniacs. HORRIBLE pictures and videos posted all over the country. The goverment got under hard preassure to change things up. And rules got even more harder. But one month later the same orgination showed that NOTHING had been done for the poor animals.

Therefor I have lost like ALL faith in the fur industry. I never liked it before but since I found out just how horrible they are, even in the "best law regulated" countries...

Other then that, fur looks really pretty, but in these days they can do some pretty good looking fake fur so... It's worth going fake to save animals from this hell...

I personally am not that fussed if people wear real fur or faux fur. I mean people wear leather which comes from cows/cattle and no one really ever makes a big deal about that. I don't really care, I know people go nuts, like PETA and stuff with the throwing of paint and stuff, but I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Obviously I don't like people killing endangered animals cuz they'll become extinct but other animals... meh. Thats how people made their clothes before all these artificial fibres were created.

I am sure however, as I can see, so so many have their own opinion, in some cases very personal. But does these opinions affect straight to Ayu? Doubt it.
